Comfy Wear - All From Femme Luxe Finery

 I can definitely tell that Summer has finally made it!  80 degree weather, sunny (not to mention a lot of rain) and to the point where the air has to finally be turned on!  Being that I live in Southeast Missouri, the boothheel to be exact, you never know what kind of weather you are going to get.  It could be 80 degree one day and then, without warning, you wake up to 50 to 60 degree weather...it can be crazy sometimes!

The next item, yep, another Leopard Print Shirt!  This is the Black 'La Femme' Slogan Print Lip T-Shirt.  This shirt is available in the colors Black & White and looks so cute with Femme Luxe Finery's cycle shorts, ripped jeans, distressed shorts, paired with some white sneakers or cute summer sandals.  I have to say...I'm obsessed with these two shirts...and the price!

The third item is the Black Crewneck Oversized T-Shirt.  This is your basic black tee that can be worn with ANYTHING!  I chose this black oversized t-shirt, for one, it goes perfect with my black leggings.  Second...I can wear this shirt with any colored bottoms I want.  Dress it up or dress it down, either way, it's what I call my little black dress...but in a shirt!  It's super comfy and when worn with silver jewelry, it really pumps up this basic t-shirt a notch!  This shirt would be super cute with some denim blue jeans, denim shorts paired with some leopard print platform sandals.

Perfect Work & Weekend Attire - Femme Luxe Finery

It seems like it's been a while since I've posted a new blog post, but today...It's a brand new day!  Lately, I've been reading up, watching and trying to grasp a new thing...but I will leave that for another post.

It's almost a new month and March will be here before you know it.  February's not been too bad (I know it's winter and we HAVE to have cold weather) but I'm ready for some steady warm weather!  Here, in Southeast Missouri, you never know what the temps will be.  One day it may be in the 30's and the next...you're looking at near 60!  I kid you not!

Whatever the weather, I'm pretty sure these four outfits are perfect for all season!  I'm super excited about this month's picks from Femme Luxe Finery, because as you know...I normally steer away from pants unless I can try them on. Not all pants fits the same and I've been so self conscious about the way pants fit in the waist.  BUT...I've decided to forgo all that and give these a try!  Oh...why am I super excited about this pick?  Because, it's the first time I've seen these pants (I've been eyeing these for quite some time) in a size I believe would fit!

So, enough rambling...Let's get to it!

These Baby Pink Cargo Pants have always been a favorite style of mine.  They just seem to look sporty, but feminine and can be worn in a way that makes them casual or dressed up.  They have the cargo style pockets on each leg as well as a cuffed ankle and elastic waist band.  These would look awesome paired up with a black or white tank top.  Dress them up with some heels or pair them down with some white sneakers.  I love the versatility of these pants...not to mention the color!  I am wearing a size 16 (UK size) which converts to a size 12 US. (psst...this black t-shirt is also from Femme Luxe Finery!)

The next pair of pants are the Black High Waisted Side Split Trousers.  These, I chose, well...because momma needs a new pair of pants for work...a pair that LOOKS like they were made for work...not a pair of leggings that I normally wear!  These high waisted side split trousers are available in sizes 6-16 UK sizes (2-12 US) and have a side split in each leg.  I can see myself pairing this up with a cami, layered with a cardigan.  These would look extra hot paired with a lace bodysuit, in the same color, for an evening out.  Throw on some heels and you have a date-night outfit!

The third pair of pants I chose were the Teal Belted Tapered Trousers.  These, again, were chosen because I need more work attire in my closet.  Eventually, I want to veer away from leggings as work attire.  I recently was promoted to loan officer and now, I want to look the part.  These pants will definitely have me looking the part.  These pants are not only super cute, but very stylish and I love the big belted look! (I may forgo the belt just a bit...still working on this tummy of mine!)  These pants have that elegant tapered look and would perfect with a bodysuit, layered with a work jacket.  If you're not too keen on bodysuits, you can wear a nice solid colored sleeveless top!  These WILL become a regular wear for me, once I get to where I can wear them, but in the meantime, I'm loving the look of these pants on the model!

And Last...not pants, but one of my favorite tops that I recently ordered in two different colors, is the Cold Shoulder Cut Out Jersey Dress in Khaki Green!  The two previous cold shoulder cut out jersey dresses (I wear this as a long top with leggings) fit so well, that I had to have this in the Khaki Green.  I love how the whole look comes together, from the neckline and shoulder cut out to the length.  You can wear this with the matching belt it comes with or, just let it hang with a pair of leggings.  This is a very cute dress/top to wear if you are on the smaller side and you want to cinch that waist line in to create a casual look.  This top is super soft and super comfy and I wish they had this available in other colors (I would definitely dig a pretty pink!) Worn as a dress and paired up with some booties would look so cute!

My Favorite Winter Fashion Finds...And Where You Can Get Yours Too!

Although it's still the middle of November, Winter has finally found us!  In Missouri, we went from 60 degrees to 25 degrees in one weekend.  That is just how Southeast Missouri rolls.  Once it starts getting closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas, you may have a few warm days...and all of a sudden...snow and ice is here!

There is only one thing I want to do when cold weather hits, and that is stay inside, cozy and warm, with a nice hot cup of cocoa or coffee.  But...staying home doesn't pay the bills, so it's off to work I go.  I know I'm going to stay warm with Femme Luxe Finery's clothes.  Not only will I stay warm, but I'm also going to be sporting some of the most affordable fashion ever!

Here are just some of the Femme Luxe Finery finds I'm wearing this month.  One top may not be as warm, or considered Winter attire, but it can easily be layered with a jacket or cardigan.  You'll see what I mean when you take a look at the photos below.

The first two items, shown here, are perfect for that cold weather!  It's warm, cozy and comfortable!  I know you've heard me say it many times, but these knitted jumpers and sweaters by Femme Luxe Finery are so, so soft and comfy!  being that I love oversized jumper sweaters, I chose two!  One of a stone color and the other...a cream.  These jumpers are somewhat similar, but different at the same time.  The stone colored one has a side split, allowing you to wear it as a regular sweater, but with a split side, for the most comfortable wear, and the other, the cream colored one, is the Long Line Split Jumper, that allows you to tie the front of the sweater, which is SO different!  Both jumper sweaters have the long sleeves that have plenty of room in them, not binding like a lot of sweaters I've worn.  Being that these jumpers are knitted, they have a little stretch to them.

The next outfit, I already own, but in a brown color.  I love the brown so much, that I had to have this in black!  It is the Black Ribbed Belted Loungewear Set.  It has long sleeves, V-neck front and comes with a thin matching fabric belt.  If you're like me, you can just wear this without the belt!  Either way, you can dress this loungewear set up, or pair it down with some comfy sneakers.  This loungewear set, of course, comes with matching leggings, making this the perfect outfit for those Christmas or Thanksgiving holidays when you just want to lounge around the house, but still look as if you're ready to go out at any time!

Last, the one item I mentioned that WAS NOT a Winter item, but still can be worn under a cardigan, jacket or just worn on those warmer fall and winter days.  It is the Nude Boxy Fit Short Sleeve shirt.  This is your basic top that can be worn with jeans, leggings, shorts and even Femme Luxe Finery's cycling shorts! (they have matching cycling shorts for this top!)  This boxy cut shirt makes this top ultra comfy to wear everyday.  The basic fit and color is perfect for that underlying garment that you need for those lower cut shirts, or, as I mentioned above, under your favorite open front cardigan.  I  have a feeling I will be wearing this top under a lot of my cardigans and lower cut sweaters this winter!

Summer and Fall Fashion - Femme Luxe Finery

You guys know what time it is?  It's another haul from Femme Luxe Finery!  Just when I begin to think that I possibly can't find anything else for me and my body, Femme Luxe Finery pleasantly surprised me with new items added to their site.

With Fall just about on  us, I have begun looking more for warmer clothes that can still be worn in between Fall and Winter and even at the end of Summer.  Like I've said before, I'm not ready to rid of my t-shirts.  I wear t-shirts on a daily basis, especially after I get home from work...and even on the weekends.  But...I AM ready to pull out my long sleeve hoodies, long sleeve sweater dress shirt and jeans.

Now, just because cooler weather is almost here, doesn't mean that Femme Luxe Finery has shut their doors on their hot, sexy tops and pants for the party animals and for the night life.  You will still be able to find their selection of lacy camisoles, low cut tops an classy and elegant jumpsuits when you visit their site.  You HAVE visited their site...right?!

The first new item, shown below, is my favorite this go around.  It is Khaki Green Oversized Sweater Dress.  One...I love the color.  It just has Fall written all over it.  Second...It's my type of sweater that I love to wear when  cooler weather begins to hit.  I have the option to wear it with leggings, jeans or as a sweater dress.  I can pair this up with some black booties if worn as a sweater dress, dazzle it up with some black wedges or heels for that long sweater look with leggings or finish the look off with jeans and brown or tan boots.  This sweater has multiple purposes and can be worn many ways.  It is so soft, comfy and warm...but not too heavy to where it is too hot to wear during the Fall.

The second outfit is the Black Loungewear Track Suit.  The loungewear is more form fitting than the boxy cut loungewear that I currently own and previously posted.  The pants are more snug, as well as the top, but still gives a slightly relaxed fit. The pants have an elastic fitted ankle and the outfit, itself, is made of 95% polyester and 5% Elastane.  Perfect outfit for keeping warm, snug and lounging around in.

Third is the Black Faux Leather Look Leggings.  These leggings are high waisted and have a sleek, thin feeling to them, resembling leather.  They are not your typical thicker leather leggings, but more on the thinner side.  These leggings can be paired with ANYTHING!  Top it off with your favorite sweater - cropped or long, a long black (or any bright colored) satin top, paired with some black heels or your favorite tank top.  They do have some stretch to them, but are very fitted and hug your body.  I already know that I'm going to wear these faux leather leggings with one of my many Femme Luxe Finery long sweater/sweater dresses.  The Khaki Green Oversized Sweater that I just mentioned above, the Black Long Sleeve "Give In To Me" Sweater and the Black Gold Lips Long Sleeve Sweater would ALL be perfect combos for these leggings.

Last, but certainly not least, is another slogan t-shirt. Do you remember my last post when I absolutely loved the white and slogan tees?  Well, this t-shirt is made just like those two, but with the words, "Ye Saint West" Hidden Hills, USA"
Femme Luxe Finery has several of these slogan tees, with a variation of wording and style.  These are the perfect t-shirts to either wear knotted in the front, or as is.  The t-shirt is stretchy, somewhat thin-but not too thin, soft and very comfortable.  I love slogan tees.  They make a statement and have become very popular among many people, even celebrities.  AND....these are only around 
$8!  Super cute with jeans, shorts and white or black colored pants.

New Fashion Items at Femme Luxe Finery

First, a little about Femme Luxe Finery.  Femme Luxe Finery is based in the UK.  Their sizes are UK sizes, but their site has a chart that you can refer to for US sizes.  They are always having sales, sometimes up to 50% - 80% off of their entire site.  When I place my order, it usually takes about 2 weeks before the clothes arrives at my mailbox.

The first item is the awesome Neon Green Satin Buttoned Up Tie Front Shirt. The size of this shirt is size 14 and fits me perfectly!  I was skeptical, at first, mainly because it didn't look like a size 14, but my mind was put at ease when I tried it on.  It's so satiny, smooth and falls into place.  It has a tie front, collar and cuffed sleeves and how cool would this look with a pair of faux leather or PU pants?  Or...add a pair of distressed blue jean shorts, with this shirt. This shirt is just as pretty, if not prettier, in person. Love, Love, Love this shirt! 

The next two items are similar and the same as another item, but since it fits so well and is very comfortable, I decided to order it in the colors Khaki (olive green) and black color.  It is the Short Sleeve Boxy Lounge Wear set that has a matching pant to the top, with the pants having pockets and a drawstring attached to the front of the pants.  The top is about a mid length top, hitting me right above my hips and barely covering my lower stomach area. If you are taller, this shirt may hit you right about your hips.  I'm in love with the fabric.  It's super soft, not thin...but not too thick either. The outfit does have some stretch, making this the perfect lounge wear to lounge in.  The size I chose in this is a Med/Large (12-14)

The last item is another one of my favorites.  It too, is a similar top I have from Femme Luxe Finery, but has this large bronze-y lip on the front AND...has a hoodie!  It's the Black Gold Lip Print Hoodie.  It has long sleeves, a little on the thicker side than my other sweater, but feels so comfy and warm (not like you're actually gonna wear it this summer!)  The front graphic of the bronze-y lip is what caught my attention and I knew I had to have this hoodie...yes, it's an actually hoodie!  If I'm gonna wear a hoodie...I don't want it to be plain looking and let me tell ya...this is DEFINITELY NOT PLAIN!  The size of this hoodie is XL (14/16) but could have went with a Large...but I'm not complaining because I love my hoodies (especially in the winter) on the larger side.

I'm Not Quite Ready To Give Up My Winter Clothes...Just Yet - #FemmeLuxeFinery

As the title states...I'm not quite ready to give up my winter clothes...just yet!  Femme Luxe Finery has some pretty neat winter clothes, not to mention, a lot of hot items for the Spring, Summer and even nights on the town (or club!)  I always wished I was as small as the model posing in these fashionable hot numbers, but right now, I will have to settle for just me!

I've been collaborating with Femme Luxe Finery for quite some time and their clothes are probably the most fun, affordable and fashionable pieces I've owned.  Femme Luxe Finery has anything from dressy jumpsuits to your more casual lounge wear and everything in between.  I still can't get over how reasonably priced they are, especially the pieces shown below!

Some of my FAVORITES that I have seen on their site, are ones that I have yet to try...but some of my favorites, that I DO OWN, are listed below.  The first item shown is the "Give In To Me" over-sized black shirt dress.  It's listed as a dress on their site, but...I have paired this up with some black leggings and black sandals for a somewhat casual-dressy look.  Paired with some little black booties and worn as a dress, this "Give In To Me" number would look adorable-y cute!  I love how comfy and roomy this black shirt/dress is and I never can pass up a statement piece! It's become one of my favs, so far!

Next, are these Black Cropped Legging Shorts.  These shorts has my name written all over them!  They are some of the most comfortable shorts I have. They are stretchy, soft and come in a wide range of colors.  Pair these shorts with a cropped cami, cropped twist shirt or go all casual and pair it with your favorite t-shirt or workout top.  I chose the black because...well, let's face it; black is more slimming and goes with everything!

The third item is another favorite of mine and they are these Black Animal Crocodile Print Leggings.  These leggings are high waisted, but not too high waisted and are a must in every gal's wardrobe!  These, to me, are more of a dark grey/black legging and as with anything in this color, goes well with any colored top.  When it comes to leggings, I like to pair it with a long, loose top...to give me more of a slimming look (snug fit bottom with a loose upper top.)  You can dress these leggings up even more by adding a pair of some strappy heels and an off the shoulder/cold shoulder blouse.  I wasn't for sure if these would fit very comfortable, but once on, they didn't disappoint me!  I'm wearing a size 12.

Last, but certainly not least, is these Khaki Green colored, Faux Leather Look Leggings.  I ordered a size 12 in these and I'm going to quite honest (and I always am); once I pulled these from the package, I was instantly disappointed and sad.  These size 12 looked more like a kid size, or more less, someone who was extra small!  When I held these up, I said, "no way...these are NOT going to fit!"  Giving the benefit of the doubt, I went ahead and tried them on, at the same time, holding my breath hoping they would at least fit, somewhat.  BY GOLLY....THEY FIT!  How in the world, something that looked so small, actually fit?!  Well, these faux leather leggings are meant to look and fit snug, but at the same time, they actually stretched to fit the body.  Now, I will admit, they weren't the most comfortable fitting leggings I've tried and owned, but they came pretty darn close and they did fit.  Being that I'm somewhat doing a low carb/Keto diet, I expect these to fit perfectly by the end of summer.
