Yellow Owl Reversible Hoodie Blanket

If you've been following me, you already know what a big fan of Etsy I am...and for good reasons!  The items you find on Etsy are not factory made, are not made in thousands of quantities, only to be distributed out to the stores, but individually made items, from people like you and me, who put a lot of love and time into the items they create.  Each piece is unique and different.

Shown here, is a cute and darling owl hoodie blanket by LollyPopCreation, over on Etsy.  It actually can serve as two functions...a hoodie blanket or a nice warm blanket after a baby's bath, that has a hoodie to keep their little heads warm and dry. It's almost like a hoodie towel for your baby!

This owl blanket is reversible. It has colorful pastel owls on one side with a yellow minky backing on the other.  The minky fabric is very very popular these days.  It has a dotted texture but very very soft. The blanket is approximately 34 x 34 inches and has excellent stitching. Before receiving, the blanket is washed in handmade all natural laundry detergent.

This would make for the perfect baby shower, coming home or Christmas gift and we all know, you can never have enough blankets when it comes to your little ones, especially since they tend to grow up so fast!

Navy Chain Minky Car Seat Cover by BabyBagagge

It seems like Minky is the 'in' thing nowadays and why wouldn't it be!  Anytime you have a product that is lined or made with Minky, you are going to get a more quilted and thicker product.  Minky is a fabric that has a slight stretch to it that is very very soft and has a raised dot effect.

This car seat cover that I received, shown here, is by Baby Bagagge on Etsy. Carol has tons of car seat covers and car seat/stroller swaddle blankets that will fit every baby's needs. This particular car seat cover is of the design, Navy Chain.  As you can see, the design has a chain link pattern that is on a navy colored fabric.  The car seat cover is lined with a Minky fabric, making this car seat cover excellent for protecting your baby from the wind, rain, dirt and the sun.

This is a very nicely made car seat cover and the tabs that fasten around the handle of the car seat have velcro attachments and is very sturdy, well made and has the BabyBagagge logo tag on it.  The stitching is awesome and I love how this car seat cover feels in my hands.

Navy Quatrefoil Car Seat Canopy by Shine Sew Bright

If you have a newborn, or expecting a new baby, you know that there are tons of necessities you MUST have when it comes to your baby.  One of those must haves are car seat canopies.  Car seat canopies, or car seat covers, are those that go over the top and around your baby's car seat.  It protects your little one from the sun, dirt and dust.  

Car seat canopies come in a wide array of designs, fabrics and colors.  There are solid colored ones, printed ones as well as those with cute animal characters on them.  The car seat canopy shown here, is handmade by Heather, at Shine Sew Bright on Etsy. It is Navy colored with Quatrefoil design and has the two velcro fabric tabs at the top, to fasten around the handle of the car seat.  

The back, or inside, of the Navy Quatrefoil car seat canopy is made of minky fabric, a very very soft and silky feeling material, that is well known for the 'dots' on the fabric.  The car seat is approximately 29" x 40", plenty big enough to cover a standard car seat as well as act as a play mat for your little one.

Baby Must-Have: Car Seat Cover To Protect Your Baby From The Sun

Summer time is just about hear and with the summer, comes a lot of sun (and rain.)  You will be hauling your little one in and out of the house, in and out of the car and then back home again.  Carrying your baby back and forth, when traveling, will require a car seat that can be easily removed and carried from the vehicle.  Not only will you want a car seat (pumpkin seat, back in my day) that is easy to tote around, but you will want to protect your little one's eyes from the glaring hot summer sun.

The gray chevron and turquoise car seat cover has two buttons attached to the car seat by two individual flaps.  The buttons are just for decor, but the actual flaps have velcro.  Just unfasten the velcro and fasten around the top of the car seat.  This particular car seat cover is neutral print, meaning, it's perfect for both baby boys and baby girls.

Baby Burp Cloths by Starline Boutique - #burpcloths

We, as mothers, all know that you can never EVER get enough burp cloths. From the time your baby is born til the time your little one reaches the age where he or she is no longer drooling, you will go through tons of these gems. Some babies are spitters, some are droolers and then you have some babies who barely spit up at all.  Protecting your baby's clothes (and yours) is just one of the many times you will find your self reaching for these burp cloths.

This pair of burp cloths are hand made by Star Vanderham, from Starline Boutique, on Etsy.  Star has many designs to choose from and the design shown here, is the Sock Monkey and Chevron pattern in Teal and Aqua.  This design is perfect for both baby boys and baby girls that features little sock monkeys on an Aqua Teal colored fabric. The back of the burp cloth is made of a very soft and stretchy fabric, called Minky.  A lot of bibs, burp cloths and baby blankets are being made with Minky, as it's ultra soft and becoming very popular among mommies and babies.  

The burp cloths are soft to the touch and very adorable.  The stitching seems to be even, all around the burp cloth and I love the strip of monkey fabric that goes down the cloth.  Each burp cloth has the Starline Boutique tag, stitched into the burp cloth, for that extra personalized touch.  The burp cloths are 17" x 10".  They are very absorbent and ready to clean up even the messiest spills.
