Baby showers are a fun way to get all your friends and family together to celebrate the upcoming arrival of a new baby. It's a time to go all out on baby clothes, necessities and decorations. But let's not forget about the mommy-to-be. Mommy-to-be has to have something for herself, not just for the party.
One of the things a new mommy HAS to have, is a Mommy-To-Be ribbon pin. This is pinned to the mommy's outfit, to let everyone know, who the mommy-to-be is (like it's not that obvious!) This mommy-to-be pin is handmade by Debra, an Etsy seller who has ChicBabyCakes Etsy store. Debra was kind enough to provide me this mommy-to-be pin, done in a range of pinks and gold...the color theme of my friend's baby shower.
This pin not only has the colors of pink and gold, but also white with pink and Chevron. The top part of the pin is done in a circular fashion, with the white, Chevron, pink and white polka dots. Grosgrain ribbon hangs down from this pin, coordinating and matching all around.
I also discovered, that this mommy-to-be pin can also be used to decorate a baby diaper cake or act as a decoration for the main baby shower table. I love how this pin will go perfectly with the pink and gold theme that we will have going on at the baby shower, in September.
