By now, many of you know that I'm a HUGE coffee lover...ground coffee, coffee beans and flavored coffee.  I prefer my coffee black... no sugar, no cream, just black and strong.  I'm always looking for the 'next best thing' when it comes to coffee.  Whether it's a strong flavored coffee with a bold taste or something totally unique.

I can attest to the "No Sticky Residue".  I actually knelt down to feel my rug, after it dried and was vacuumed.  THERE WERE NOT STICKY SPOTS!  I commend Peter McDonald for finding a product like this and offering it to customers.  This product is not only good for pet stains, but stains that result from coffee, tea, grease and more.

Bab Coffee & Teas Coffee Bean Review

Anyone who knows me, knows I love my coffee!  If there is a new kind of flavor, type or way of drinking coffee, I'm all in!  I will have a cup in the morning, when I first awake and another after I get to work.  If I'm feeling tired in the afternoon, I'll have another cup.  I guess you can call me a coffee addict!

I'm thrilled to have gotten to try Bab Coffee & Teas Urban Brewz Coffee Beans!  What caught my eye was the bold black 1lb bag with a silver lettering on the black bag. These bags stood out and I knew this was one kind of coffee I wanted to try.  

I love the unique and fun names of the coffee...Swagg Life, Black Crack Coffee and Hype.  Who would have come up with names like these?  Each one of these names has their own unique flavors and strengths.  Hype has a very rich, smooth, full body flavor.  Black Crack has a heavy, strong, rich, wake up call flavor (right up my alley), and Swagg Life has an Old World, full bodied, rich, earthy flavor.

Urban Brewz knew what they were doing when they created this coffee.  I couldn't wait to try my next cup of coffee, trying a different flavor.  The coffee beans are dark and rich in color with a very pleasant aroma as soon as you open the bag.  You can instantly tell, by the smell, that the Black Crack Coffee, was one that will definitely wake you up and stronger than the rest.

My favorite????  The Black Crack,  hands down.  I loved all three, but the stronger the coffee, the better!  You can always make each one of these stronger, to your liking...just add an extra spoon to your coffee maker.

Joe Black Coffee Beans

I am absolutely in love with Joe Black's Coffee Beans!  I received Joe Black Coffee Beans awhile back ago, and not only did I receive one, but I received five bags to try!  These beans ranged from Arabica Mocha, Java Mocha, Paddy's Blend, Italian Blend and Milano.

I loved every single one, but my favorites (which I've already went thru) were Milano and the Aribica Mocha.  Each one of these had their own unique taste, ranging from a mild taste to a more robust, full flavor that consisted of bittersweek chocolate overtones to dusted cocoa and clove aromas.

Once I received these bags, I immediately opened them up and was greeted by such strong, rich aromas from the beans.  One by one, I finally grounded up each bag of beans (separately, of course) and stored the grounds in containers.  Joe Black's coffee beans have become my favorite brand of coffee. I love to pick and choose which flavor I will drink next!

Sleepless in Southeast Missouri

I'm normally not a light sleeper, or so I didn't think so.  I normally go to bed around 8:30pm...yes, I know that's early, but I am usually up and at 'em at 4:30 in the morning.  I have no problem falling asleep, hardly ever, and I normally don't have trouble STAYING asleep, but last night was a different story.

I woke up, after hearing my front door open (which was my guest, who worked late last night).  Usually I just fall back to sleep within 10 minutes.  But then I heard the television.  Now, I can fall asleep in the living room, if I'm sleepy, with the t.v. on, but for some reason, at 1:00 - 2:00 am, that was not the case.  Maybe if the television couldn't have been heard, I probably could have fallen back asleep.  But my house isn't the most sound proof house either.

Then I heard a cell phone go off, at least 5 times.  That even made it worse.  Then the fridge's ice maker (someone getting crushed ice), then the microwave!  OMG!  Stop already!  No matter how much I tried and tried to go back to sleep, my body had other plans.  Then I heard my Pug and husband take turns snoring!  GIVE IT A REST ALREADY!  Then it was the trash truck at 2:45 am (yes, I heard this too!) 3:45 am, my husband's alarm goes off...time for him to get up for work.  Then I had to make a bathroom trip, 3:40 am.  My husband said he was going to go ahead and leave for work, so I could get some sleep....Guess what?  I've been awake since 12:00am...FAT CHANCE!  I was right.  Around 4:30 am, I finally decided to get up...couldn't go to sleep, anyhow.

For anyone who knows me, I am a very timely person.  That, meaning, I go to bed at 8:30, I sleep most throughout the night.  I may get up and use the bathroom around 1:00 am, but I instantly fall back asleep.  I get up around 4:30 am, start my blogging for about an hour.  Get dressed for work, usually takes 45 minutes.  Fix breakfast. Eat. Clean up my small mess. Load the dishwasher. If time permits, do another product review. 7:30 am, I'm out the door and headed to work (I'm normally at work 20 minutes early).

Does this exhaust you, hearing this?  Just think...I'm totally exhaused after only 3 1/2 hours of sleep.  Gonna make for a LONG day at work.  Coffee, here I come!!!

This is one of my pet peeves and things that make me wanna scream! What is yours?  I'd love to hear it!!!  Surely I'm not alone!

When I first received the MIRA Stainless Steel French Press Coffee Plunger, I was truly impressed! The first thing I noticed was the shine of the Coffee Press.  It has a shiny stainless steel finish and is absolutely gorgeous.  It makes approximately 8 cups of coffee and keeps the coffee warm up to 2 hours.

The second thing that impressed me was the function of it.  Let me tell you...at first I thought I goofed up.  I didn't read any instructions, but I knew you had to add coffee grounds and hot water.  Once I did this I instantly groaned, "Oh, Crap!"  I was for sure that the coffee was going to have grounds all in it!  

I proceeded to insert the plunger on top of the coffee press and then gently pressed down on it.  At first, the Stainless Steel press didn't seem very hot.  After 5 minutes, I came back and was very very surprised how warm the coffee press had become.  I then poured my coffee, holding my breath and crossing my fingers...Voila!  Perfect brewed coffee WITHOUT THE GROUNDS!  The taste of this coffee seemed so smooth!  

I'm not for sure how many tablespoons of coffee you are suppose to add, but I read that it's 1-2 tablespoons for each cup.  I thought this odd, as I normally add that much to a coffee pot that holds 8 cups.  I know this MY 8 cups is a coffee cup, but in all actuality, 8 cups is less than a coffee cup, you actually have to go by a measuring cup.
