I love great body care products.  I'm always interested in new products on the market, as well as certain particular products, such as body washes, hand made soaps and lotions.  Those products, that are all natural and made by hand, are always going to be the ones I will lean towards first.

There are many beauty and body care products today, that have been created by individuals (and some companies), that will only use ingredients that are both beneficial and good for your body; ingredients that are all natural, fresh, toxin and chemical free.  These are the products that I want to use.

This first product, that I've tried, is Beesential's Energizing Cucumber & Green Tea Hand and Body Cream.  First...let me tell ya...this hand lotion smells awesome!  It has the fresh scent of cucumber, but also has this invigorating scent that just makes me happy!  The hand and body cream is thick and creamy and makes my hands and legs feel so soft.  Some of the ingredients that you will find in this lotion are: Olive Oil, Hydrating Beeswax, Honey, Shea Butter, Propolis, Vitamins and Silk Protein.  These ingredients help soften, heal and restore healthy skin.

I found that this lotion absorbs into my skin really well.  It has a fresh scent and a nice smooth feeling, without feeling greasy.  Cucumber is one of my favorite scents in many products that I use!

The next product is Beesential's Grapefruit & Lemongrass Body Wash.  Oh my goodness!  This smells so wonderful!  I love that it comes in a pump bottle, making it easy to dispense, while in the shower.  I love how this body wash also resembles the color, honey!  How appropriate, coming from a company that specializes in bees and beekeeper made products!  

The body wash has a light feeling, that leaves my skin feeling very soft and hydrated, after my shower.  I found that I really didn't have to use any lotion, right after using this body wash.  The smell of grapefruit and lemongrass together, makes this body wash perfect for me!  I have always loved grapefruit scents in candles, lotions, etc.  I have just recently been introduced to Lemongrass and it is becoming one of my favorite scents, as well!  

This body wash will revitalize your senses, moisturize your skin and is great for those with sensitive skin.  The ingredients in Beesential's Grapefruit & Lemongrass Moisturizing Body Wash that will help soften and moisturize your skin include: Aloe, Honey, Virgin Hemp Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Olive Oil and Coconut Oil.

Reach The Sky You Must - Japanese Kumquat Hand & Body Lotion by Zandra Beauty

I don't know about you, but I LOVE hand lotions!  I love all the different types of scents that lotions have, the soft and silky feeling that it leaves my hands and all the wonderful designed bottles. (yep, I'm one of those that's attracted to the bottle design!)  

Etsy has tons of lotions, that are handmade, by Etsy sellers; but this is the first Etsy item, that I've seen that is, "As Seen On..." This lotion smells so good and it is a very nice thick lotion that is not thin, like some I've tried in the past.  It has a Japanese Kumquat scent that smells wonderful and has a rich, creamy feeling that I love in a lotion.  Another thing that really drew me to this lotion was the bottle.  I absolutely love the creative design and writing on this bottle!  

The bottle has a pump nozzle that easily dispenses the lotion. I love finding new beauty items!  Beauty items that are different, unique and those that were hand created by Etsy sellers!  There are so many different beauty items available on Etsy, that I could just go on and on, reading and wondering about each one.

Now that summer is upon us (and I still have yet to get a tan), it's no wonder that I happened upon this great bronzing bar!  I will have to admit...I'm a bit pasty white, so getting at least a little color, is important to me, especially since my vacation is coming up in July!

Spa Basket by Fire Flower Gift Shop on Etsy Review

If you're like me, you LOVE bath essentials.  After a long day, hard day at work, all you want to do, is come home and unwind.  I'm not a shower person, but more of a bath person.  I love my baths, especially when I have nice and unique bath essentials, to give you that spa like experience.

First off, I would like to thank Virginia Herrington, from Fire Flower Gift Shop for sending me the spa basket.  Virginia can be found on Etsy and has a shop called, "Fire Flower Gift Shop."  Fire Flower Gift Shop sent me a very nice looking spa basket that consisted of: 

• Cocoa Butter Lotion
• Rose Bath Salts
• Lavender Baths Salts
• Lemon Lavender Sugar Scrub
• Citrus Soap
• Honey Almond Soap
• Lavender and Green Tea Soap
• Honey Almond Shower Sponge

All of the above are homemade and created by Virginia, over at Fire Flower Gift Shop via Etsy.  The basket is so cute!  It is a weaved woven basket, almost a light Lime Green in color and is packed with all the above goodies.  The Bath Salts, Scrub and Lotion comes in these cute little canning jars, with a decorative ribbon around each one.  The sponge and soaps are individually wrapped, to keep it's freshness as well as giving each one a decorative look, that compliments the basket

 

The first thing I've tried, was the Cocoa Butter Lotion.  It doesn't really have a scent, but I love the consistency of this lotion.  It's almost like a cream, instead of a lotion.  I love how this lotion feels.  It leaves my hands silky feeling and gives off a silky look.  

The baths salts in this basket are not your typical bath salts you would find at your local Walmart.  These salts are actually more processed and has a consistency of a powder.  I really love this, because I am not a fan of tiny rock like salts, that you can feel while in the bathtub.  These ground up salts are perfect for those who have a hot tub, to give your water a wonderful scent, as well as softening your skin.

The Citrus and the Honey Almond soap comes in a cute little thin bar.  These remind me of something you would find in a hotel.  Mine came packaged in this pink cellophane type paper and once unwrapped, are a silky white bar.  You can smell the soap as soon as you unwrap them!

The Lavender and Green Tea Soap is probably the most unique thing I noticed in this Spa Basket.  It looked almost like some sort of candy bar!  I love the feel and the texture of this soap!  So different, and although I have not used it yet, I can't wait to try it!

The Lemon and Lavender Sugar Scrub smells OHHHH SO NICE!  When I first opened the jar, I was instantly drawn in by the fragrance.  It smells just as the name...LEMON AND LAVENDER!  What a sweet combination.  This scrub is perfect for exfoliating your body, removing any unwanted dry skin.  You'll love this scrub!

Last, but certainly not least, is the Honey Almond Shower Sponge.  I will be the first to admit...I never heard of a sponge that was infused with a fragrance and gave off a silkiness, once wet!  This may look like your typical kitchen sponge, but it is so, much more than that.  This is a wonderful smelling sponge, infused with Honey Almond.

YALMEH Glorifying Moisturizing Vitamin C Lotion Review

I just recently done a review on Yalmeh Super Youth Eye Cream and now comes another great product by the same company, Yalmeh Peerless.  This Moisturizing Vitamin C Lotion works just as well as the eye cream and has the same silky, smooth hydrating feeling.  As the name states, it contains Vitamin C, which is wonderful for the skin, even for those with sensitive skin.

The Yalmeh Glorifying Vitamin C Lotion is great for both men and women, so men...don't be afraid to reap the benefits of this lotion!  I found that this lotion is very lightweight and is a great moisturizer, especially those prone to dry skin.  I wanted to see just how well it worked, after applying my makeup.  I found that my makeup went on so much smoother, giving my face an even application with my makeup and it did not cause my makeup to dry or cake up.

What I also like about this Vitamin C lotion, is that it reduces the fine lines around the eyes and seems to lighten up my eye area, due to the very light darkness I have around them.  The product is said to help diminish fine lines, protect and prevent the formation of free radicals in skin exposed to the sun and to leave your skin feeling hydrated and soothed.
