For several years, I have turned to readers...aka, reading glasses. Yes, I do need glasses to read close up, but not for everyday wear and not to see far away. As a matter of fact, I can see perfectly in the distance, but put something right in front of my to read or look at, well...that's a different story.
For awhile, it seems like I cannot get my prescription for glasses or contacts right. No matter how often my optometrist changes the prescription, it's just not where I want it to be....distance wise, and now, it seems I can't even see what I'm reading, up close.
That is why I have turned to readers. They are the perfect strength; I can read everything as it should be, perfectly. The only downfall of readers is that I am constantly flipping them off and on. Another downfall is the style. Every pair of reading glasses I buy, they are the same old thing...black (sometimes colored) and same style - plain.
