White Naturals Grapefruit Scrub

 

Good morning all!  Yes, it's been awhile since I've posted and I do apologize for that!  So many things have happened within the last few months, with so much going on, but what better way to jump back into things, than to continue with this awesome White Naturals Grapefruit Scrub!

I love grapefruit; I love the scent of grapefruit.  Don't ask me why, maybe it's because of the citrusy scent or maybe it's one of those scents that seem to waken my senses, but for whatever reason, I truly enjoy it.  

First, a little about White Naturals before I dig in on why I love this product.  White Naturals provides affordable, quality, organic skin care and beauty products. Now, about the product.  The first thing that caught my attention, was the beautiful color of this scrub.  The color resembles the fruity part of the grapefruit.  The actual scrub is not harsh nor contains large rough minerals, but instead, has a more finer texture to it.  The scent of the scrub has a distinctive grapefruit scent, not too harsh of a scent, but just enough that you know you are scrubbing with a grapefruit product.

I was pleasantly pleased at how well this scrub works...and feels!  I've used scrubs before and a lot of them just seemed harsh on my face.  White Naturals Grapefruit Scrub did NOT feel harsh and it left my face feeling so soft, smooth and fresh looking!  It was if my face was introduced to a facial!  

I used this scrub as my first step in my morning routine.  After using it and seeing the results it gave to my dry skin, I was hesitant about applying anything else to my face as I wanted that fresh, glowing look to last as long as it could.  I followed up with my face serum and then my moisturizer, followed by my makeup.

LAVO Microdermabrasion Cream Review

I'm a big fan of exfoliating my skin.  I haven't really exfoliated my face until here recently and I must tell you, I wouldn't go without it!  I love how my skin feels and looks after exfoliating, especially with LAVO's Microdermabrasion Cream. 

This cream is a pale yellow in color and contains tiny 'grains' of aluminum dioxide crystals, that are ultra fine, that buffs away dry skin and smooths pores and wrinkles.  I absolutely love this microdermabrasion cream by LAVO!  I'm not sure if it's due to the buffing of my skin, but my face has an almost luminous look to it after I've exfoliated.

The cream is creamy, yet slightly grainy at the same time.  It is perfect for most skin types, except for those with sensitive skin and those with problem skin, such as rosacea, open sores, etc.  It does not burn nor irritate my skin and that's one thing I love about this product.  This is the same quality of cream that is used by professional salons and spas, and I can see why!

The LAVO Microdermabrasion Cream contains ingredients such as: aloe vera, sea algae, chamomile, calendula, vitamins A & E, fruit enzymes derived from pineapple and papaya, which break down dead skin cells to reveal a more youthful and brighter skin.  Maybe that is why I think this cream leaves my skin looking luminous.

Teodora Nourishing Body Polish Review

I can say, that I've never used anything besides soap or body wash when taking a bath or shower.  I usually tend to stay away from soap, as I don't like the drying effects from it. That is why I was happy that I was chosen to try out Teadora Nourishing Body Polish by Teadora Beauty.

Teadora Body Polish comes in two different scents...Rainforest at Dawn and Rainforest at Dusk.

Rainforest at Dawn has an earthy, bright and sparkly citrusy burst of lemon and bergamont, mixed with fresh florals, basil, woods and eucalyptus...perfect for waking up in the morning.

Rainforest at Dusk has a smooth floral scent that is sexy and has hints of Rose Absolute and Geranium blend, with a little orange and coconut to relax and sooth you after a long day at work.  This is perfect for unwinding at night and gives you a relaxing twilight in the forest.

Here are a few suggestions, by Teodora, for using this body polish:

 • We recommend you use the polish no more than two to three times a week to get rid of dead skin, ingrowns, or imperfections without over-exfoliating.
• For stronger exfoliation, rub two to three squirts of polish in the area you want to exfoliate prior to turning on the water.
• Leave it on your skin for a minute or two while you focus on other areas of your body.
• Turn on the shower and rinse if off.
• Repeat with water running for more sensitive areas.

You can also use this, just like a body wash.  The scent that I had chosen, Rainforest at Dusk, has a very inviting and mellow scent, that has a subtle relaxing note to it.  It left my skin feeling soft and removed any dry skin I may had have.  

The body polish has Acai' seeds and Amazonian White Clay, which are two ingredients that help remove dry skin and give your skin that polished look.  I suggest if you want glowing healthy looking skin, you MUST try these Teodora Nourishing Body Polishes!  They have a wonderful smell and give great results.  It's like having your own home spa treatment!
