I love my food processor.  I use it quite a bit but sometimes, it's just too big for the small jobs I need it for.  Thanks to Brieftons, I now have a mini version of my food chopper and it's just as effective.

This Mandolin set has been so much fun for me to use.  I can slice potatoes thin enough to make home made chips and even slice them with a rippled effect.  I can julienne potatoes or veggies real quick and best of all, I can do it all without cutting my knuckles or fingers, thanks to the hand guard that comes with this set.  I don't  have to worry about a mess on my cutting board ( you know what I'm talking about...the juice from the tomatoes or potatoes that leave a big juicy mess) due to the container that comes with this mandolin.

The Maestoware All-In-One 7 PC Mandolin set comes with four different types of stainless steel blades for cutting, slicing and grating.  The blades are stored in the mandolin, itself, so you don't have to worry about hunting for the blades in a spare drawer.  The blades just slide right into the side of the mandolin, waiting for the next use.  Quick and easy!

Also, the hand guard not only serves as a hand guard, but when you are down to the stub of the veggie or potato and it will no longer slice, just remove from the mandolin, push in on the hand guard knob and out pops your leftovers!  So cool!  I really love that this hand guard has spikes to hold the veggie in place...makes it so much easier and faster.  This mandolin can be easily stored away in a cabinet or left out on the counter top (I prefer mine to be left out so I can grab it quickly.)  This would also make a great gift for someone who is a kitchen gadget lover or who loves to cook and wants all the necessary tools on hand.  This has become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets!

Very Healthy Vegetable Spiral Slicer by Varietyland Review & Giveaway
