Winter Fashion Haul - Femme Luxe Finery

It may be Fall, but Winter is just right around the corner, and with the cooler temps in Southeast Missouri, the mornings are cool enough to break out the winter attire.  I feel more comfy and myself in loose winter clothes.  They're the kind of clothes that I can just curl up in, be myself in and...sit in front of a nice warm bonfire, enjoying a nice glass of wine (or beer!)

I don't know about you, but when I find a piece of clothing I love, I have to have it in several different colors.  That's usually what happens when I find clothes on Femme Luxe Finery's website.  I will order one thing, and when I try it on and it fits...I have to have it in ALL colors!  That is what happened with the loungewear sets and the khaki green long sleeve top I fell in love with at Femme Luxe Finery.

As you will see above and below, two of the items are the same as the khaki green top, but in the colors of camel and black (you can't go wrong with black!)  As with the khaki green, this black and camel long sleeve shirt is so soft and comfortable.  It's an oversized shirt that pairs well with leggings or worn alone, as a shirt dress.  The material is just right in thickness...not too thick and not too thin and I love how it hangs loose, without the waist band.  Finish the top off with a pair of booties and you have a complete outfit.  I can't describe enough, just how comfy and snuggly this long sleeve top is.  This top is definitely one of my favorites and one that I wear ALL the time!  You won't regret this one!

This next top is so adorable!  It is classified as a midi dress, but of course, I'm wearing this as a shirt, with leggings or a pair of my solid colored casual pants.  This would also look great with a long slim skirt, paired with booties or knee boots.  I'm thinking  that this top would look awesome with a tan suede like skirt, with black knee boots!  Add a dainty small handbag, preferably black or black and tan and you have the perfect outfit!  This shirt dress is the Satin Babydoll Swing Dress and it comes in a variety of colors.  It features a ruffle sleeve, as well a ruffle effect down the dress and fastens at the back of the neck. It is just too cute!  I may just have to have this in ALL colors!

Ok, mommies (and daddies), if you are a huge Nightmare Before Christmas fan, you have GOT to check these adorable baby fleece pants out!  These are just too darling and perfect for this upcoming winter...especially Christmas time!

Ok, so you guys should know by now, I'm a huge fan of Etsy.  If you've never shopped Etsy, you guys don't know what you are missing.   There are SO many unique and cute items, not only for babies, for adults as well.

These Jack Skellington, Nightmare Before Christmas pants, are made by Marina Neff, owner of ButtsNPants, on Etsy.  They are made of very soft fleece material and can be custom made with either black or gray waistband and cuffs.  They feature, of course, Jack Skellington, the main character on Nightmare Before Christmas.

I can't get over how soft these baby pants are.  This is one of the most perfect materials for your baby, as it will feel soft and gently against the baby's skin. You can tell just how perfect the stitching and lines are in these pants, just by viewing the photo above. The pants are available in sizes 0-3 months to 3-4T. Scarves are such a big trend right now.  As a matter of fact, I believe they have always been not just a trend, but a fashion statement.  Scarves can dress up any outfit, whether it's men or women and can add that finishing touch to a business or work attire.  Scarves can either match an outfit or can offset an outfit by wearing a totally different color.

Scarves can be solid, plaid, thin or thick.  They can be worn wrapped around the neck as the traditional way or tied by opposite ends to give a bulky blanket effect.  Either way, there are many many ways to wear different scarves.  The scarf shown here, is the E.Fan Men Dark Blue Stripe Cashmere Knitted Tassel Scarf.  The E.Fan Men Cashmere Scarf is made up of 65% cashmere and 35% bamboo fiber.  It is very very soft, what you would expect from cashmere.  The blue scarf is a scarf that is combined with a darker blue color as well as black.  These colors work really well together and makes for the perfect "guy" scarf.

Aircee Women Faux #Leather Gloves Touchscreen Texting Fleece Lined Gloves With Fur

Winter may still be rearing it's ugly head in most parts of the country, but it won't be long before we start seeing spring like weather.  With just a couple more months to go in dealing with the cold weather I'm prepared to stay warm until warmer weather arrives.  Thanks to Aircee, these Faux Leather Gloves, lined with Fleece and trimmed in fur, will keep my hands happy during the next few months.  The gloves has a touchscreen fingertip feature, allowing you to still wear gloves while texting.

The Aircee Faux Leather Gloves are made of PU Leather and lined with Fleece, keeping you hands warm on those chilly days.  The fur around the wrists adds that extra little touch of style and flare, giving these gloves a fashionable look!  The fur is velvety soft and I love how it feels.  The black color makes it easy to pair with any jacket or coat.  The gloves comes in one size that will fit XS to Medium size hands.  

I would consider my hands to be in between the small to medium size and these gloves fit perfectly.  They are snug, but not too tight and are not too big.  I don't like gloves that half way fit or that kind of move around on your hands, due to no kind of elastic around the wrist. These gloves do not do that.  They fit like a "T" and have a little of that elastic around the wrist, to ensure you are going to get the best fit.

These gloves, right now, are unavailable on Amazon.  It is not known when this item will become available, but when they do, I would suggest in grabbing a pair.  If you are not a fan of the fur around the wrist, check out Aircee's other products on Amazon.  There are other stylish gloves with and without fur, in short and longer lengths.  I, myself, love the fur around the wrist.  I like that these are not just plain black leather (faux) gloves and that they have a different look to them.

Basico Women Winter Warm Knit Long #Scarf Shawl

I love my scarves!  Any color, shape, fashion or form, they all accent and compliment my wardrobe.  To me, a scarf adds that finishing touch to an outfit.  There are lighter scarves for the spring and summer and then there are the thicker, heavier scarves for Fall and Winter. The scarf, shown below, is the Basico Women Winter Warm Knit Long Scarf Shawl.  It has the length and width to be the popular blanket scarf, but it can also be work as an infinity scarf or be worn just hanging down the sides.  

I like to wear it several ways.  As shown in the photo, I have took  each end (opposite ends) and tied a small knot, giving it the infinity look.  I then twisted and then turned the scarf, allowing it to hang down, almost like a handkerchief.  This is normally how a blanket scarf is worn.  BUT...you can wear it several ways, even turning it into a vest!

The Basico Knit Scarf shown, is very lightweight.  It's not thick at all and has that rugged, rag like look, which I absolutely love!  Once wrapped around, it becomes a little thicker, yet keeps your neck nice and warm.  You will want to hand wash this in cold water and allow to hand dry.  The scarf is made of 100% viscose, which is a semi-synthetic fiber, also formerly known as Rayon.  Dimensions of the scarf is approximately 70" x 27.5".  The scarf is very soft to the touch and there are many colors and variations to choose from, just check out Timk Inc on Amazon.  Not only do they have this Basico Knit Scarf, but other scarves as well!

The color shown in the photo is the Beige-Coffee (hey, don't hold it against me, I'm a coffee addict, even when it comes to clothing!) Other colors available are: White, Green, Navy-Black, Pink, Coffee-Brown, Black-Navy, Grey and Mustard Yellow.  I love how this scarf looks.  The ends have that frayed, edgy look, with the material being solid in certain areas and thinner in others.  This color (Coffee-Brown) goes well with majority of my clothes and would look great against turquoise or teal, not to mention many other colors.

CHERRY CHICK Men's Packable Puffer Down Jacket

Winter time is here and it's time to break our those jackets, scarves and gloves.  There are times where a heavy jacket or coat is needed and then there are those times where a lightweight jacket will do.  I, personally, like both types of coats.  On those milder days, I will grab my lightweight jacket, when the wind is at a minimum and the temps are not too cold. One that is comfortable to wear and doesn't have added weight.

So, the jacket shown here, is the Cherry Chick Packable Puffer Down Jacket . This jacket has every element that I love in a jacket.  It's light and keeps you warm on those mild cooler days.  Although this is a men's jacket, I found myself wearing this.  I mean, come on...why couldn't a gal wear this jacket.  There are similar ones made for women, so this jacket is great for both genders.

This Cherry Chick Puffer Down Jacket is made of white duck down, has a storage pouch for easy storage and portability, has an elastic at the cuffs of the sleeves as well as the bottom hem and is water resistant. The jacket features two side zipper pockets and two big pockets inside of the coat.  The Cherry Chick Puffer Down Jacket comes in several colors: Black, Blue, Dark Green, Navy and Wine Red.  

When choosing your size, remember, this jacket runs in Asian size, therefore, you will need to choose a size or two bigger.  My husband normally wears between a medium or Large in U.S. size coats.  This jacket, size XL in Asian size, is a Medium in U.S. size.  The coat fits fairly well on my husband, but could be a little looser in the arms.  Ordering an XXL in Asian size would have been perfect.  BUT.....the coat fits me PERFECT! Say hello to a new coat, Jenny!  

My husband really did like the feel and the lightness of this jacket and he has even worn it a couple times.  He said if the sleeves were just a little looser, it would have been just the right size.  Overall, the jacket is a very well made, nice jacket.  The puffer jacket is a very popular style jacket and is becoming even more popular with the guys.

Choies Women's Plain Ruffle Hem Long Sleeve Fall Hoodie

Colder weather has already shown itself in many parts of the country.  With cooler weather, it brings on the hoodies, sweatshirts, coats and boots, all which can be very warm and comfortable, yet still being fashionable.  Although I'm not a big Winter person, I do love dressing up warm in my favorite hoodie or boots.  Below, is the Women's Plain Ruffle Hem Long Sleeve Hoodie by Choies.  This hoodie takes on a whole new look and a new twist for hoodies, as it has a flare ruffled bottom. 

It is a more lightweight hoodie than your traditional hoodie, but still warm for the cooler weather.  It is 70% polyester and 30% cotton.  It is a very soft fabric that is comfortable to wear and has a slight loose fit.  The hoodie is not as long as the traditional hoodie, as it only comes right above my hips.  It has a flattering flared bottom, different than what you would normally see in a hoodie.  

This hoodie does run in Asian sizes, so choosing one or two sizes larger than you would normally wear is recommended, due to Asian sizes tend to run smaller than U.S. sizes.  I chose the XL in Asian size and it fits like a medium to almost large on me.  

There are two colors to choose from, red or blue.  As you can see, I chose the red, which is more like a light red color. Chicnova Women's Panda Hoodie Zipper Coat

There's nothing I love more during the cooler weather, than breaking out the hoodies, scarves and boots.  Although I don't really own many hoodies, I do have at least one, but thanks to Chicnova, I now have two.  

This cute panda hoodie, sold by Chicnova, is a thick and warm hoodie.  It has the face of a panda on the front of the hoodie, which is one of two face options.  The other face option is just the round looking eyes, without the heart shaped eyes.  The hoodie has a zipper that zips in the front, a generous size hood and a pair of two black pom pom ears (I assume these are ears!)

There are two styles to this Panda hoodie...one with pockets and one without.  The one with pockets, is the one with the hear shaped looking eyes.  The one without pockets, also does not have the hood or pom pom ears.  As a reminder, these hoodies are in Asian sizes, therefore, you will need to order  size or two larger since Asian sizes run quite a bit smaller.  I ordered a size larger, going by their measurements, and I really needed two sizes larger.

Persun Tassel Suede Waistcoat Open Front Vest Cardigan

Fall is just around the corner and with Fall, there comes cooler weather, bonfires and not-so-summer type clothes.  I love Fall because it's the season where I get to dress a little warmer, where I get to pull out my boots and where Fall type clothes.  With Fall, I associate my clothing with browns, tans, blacks and any earthy colors.  I love cardigans and of any type!

This cute and fashionable cardigan, shown below, comes from Persun on Amazon.  It is 100% polyester (yes, it looks like suede!) It is very lightweight, which I love, which makes it easier to layer it with a cotton or polyester shirt (black or white would be perfect!)  I can see myself wearing this with a pair of jeans, black shirt underneath the cardigan and pairing in off with my brown knee high boots.

The Persun Open Front Vest Cardigan has tassels that hang from the waist, on down past the hips.  It's open front, and is faux suede.  I'm not too big on whether something is faux or real, as long as it's cute, fashionable and I love how it looks, I'm all for it.  The Persun Tassel Faux Suede Open Front Cardigan has a detailed braided stitching around the collar and chest area, giving this cardigan that extra touch.

When it comes to choosing a size, this cardigan by Persun, is considered a free size...meaning, it does not have a specific size, but will fit most with a bust size of up to 37.8" with a length of 32.7 inches.  Now, this is not a One Size Fits All by no means, but I normally wear a large in a blouse, jacket, etc. and this fits perfect.  It's soft to the touch and has many many free flowing tassels.  LOVE IT!  The cardigan also comes in black.

Bestal Women's Thicken Faux Fur Hooded Parka Coat

If you don't know by now, I'm a big fan of Bestal's clothing!  They have a large line of clothing and accessories that I love and I can always find new items, especially when they add seasonal items.  

Below is Bestal's Women Thicken Faux Fur Hooded Parka Coat.  This coat is very thick and very fully lined with faux fur.  It has a front zipper as well as snaps down the front of the coat and comes with a belt!  This reminds me more of a trench coat style jacket, but very thick and very very warm.  I won't have to worry about keeping warm in this coat, this winter! 

I love the color that I chose.  It's a white coat, but better yet, a cream white color.  The coat is long and very roomy inside.  The coat has a semi fitted look, but is not so fitted, that it's too small.  The inner fur lining can be taken out, if the coat needs to be washed.  I love that feature!  This coat, as well as any other Bestal items, run in Asian sizes.  It's recommended to order a size larger since Asian sizes tend to run smaller than U.S. sizes.

Bestal Women's Fur Collar Hoodie Winter Coat

The time is coming, the time to break out our hoodies, jackets and coats.  In approximately two to three months, depending where you live, cooler weather will soon be here.  I'm not ready for the cold, as a matter of fact, I'm not a cold weather person.  I love the Spring, Fall and Summer months, but there are times, where I long for cooler temps.  

I like to have a jacket or coat for certain occasions.  Not special occasions, but just occasions such as work, weekends and winter months.  There are times when I need a light jacket, times for when it's colder and then a jacket that is perfect to wear over work clothes.  I love jackets that are both casual and that is dressy.

Below, is a jacket that is perfect for the weekends or just sitting outside on a cool night, while enjoying a bonfire.  This jacket is perfect for that casual night/day.  Although it is a hoodie style jacket, this jacket is very warm.  It's well insulated and has a fur lined hood.  It has two side zipper pockets as well as a zipper in the front.  When I tried this jacket on, I couldn't believe the thickness of this hoodie jacket.  It will definitely keep you warm!  I love the inside of this jacket.  It has graphics written inside the whole jacket.

The jacket is made of cotton and has a slim fit.  It hits me right above my hips. This jacket does run in Asian sizes, so you will need to order a size or two larger, depending on how loose you want the coat to fit.  All in all, I love the slim fit of this jacket and how thick and warm it feels.  The fur lined hood seems to set this hoodie jacket off from all the rest of the hoodie jackets and that is one of the features I love about this coat.

BEKDO Women's Faux Leather Zip Up Cropped Moto Jacket with Hoodie

With Fall and Winter just right around the corner, preparing for the cooler months can be a little discouraging.  I am a Spring and Summer kind of gal, but I know, eventually, I'm going to have to break out the jackets.  Thanks to BEKDO on Amazon, I was thrilled when I received the Women's Faux Leather Zip Up Cropped Moto Jacket!  Not only is this a cool looking jacket, but it comes with a hoodie!

This jacket is 100% Faux Leather, with the inside lining being polyester.  Although this is a faux leather jacket, I couldn't be happier with the way it fits and feels.  It's not very heavy at all, as a matter of fact, I think this is the perfect weight for me.  I chose the beautiful light brown color, as this would go perfect with jeans and matches my cowgirl boots I just recently received over two weeks ago...perfect color!

The jacket is a basic hoodie bike rider jacket, that has four pockets on the front...two with zippers and two upper front chest pockets with snaps.  The jacket is fully lined and the hoodie is detachable, so you have the option of wearing this nice faux leather jacket, with or without, the hoodie.

I can't wait to wear this jacket, this fall and winter!  I love the feel of the jacket when you touch it.  It has a soft texture feel to it and the quality of it seems very well made.  I love the whole fitted look and that it is a semi cropped jacket, that fits right above my hips.
