My Winc Wine Experience And How You Can Save $22 On Your Winc Wine Order

winc wine subscription

If you're a wine lover, addict like me, let me let you in on a monthly wine club subscription that you may or may not have heard about.  Winc is an online wine club site that offers 4 personalized wines each month. Bottles start at $13 each. Winc is not your traditional wine club: they are a direct-distribution global wine company that personalizes the entire wine experience, perfecting how wine is made, distributed, perceived and purchased via their Palate Profile quiz that recommends wine based on your unique tastes and enjoyed on behalf of a new generation of wine drinkers.

I received my 4 bottles of wine a few days ago and I must admit, Winc done a pretty good job of choosing 4 random flavors, based off the results of the quiz I took.  I will have to say (and this should come to no shock if you know me) but the Merlot was my favorite...or was it the Rosa Obscura (red wine?)  Either way, these were my two favorites!  I don't drink white wine, not that I don't like it, but Merlot has always been my top pick.  The Funk Zone was a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and two other white wines and I actually liked this wine.  It was a little on the dry side, but that is how I like my wine.  The Funk Zone bottle was a fun designed looking bottle, which made it the first one I opened.

The bottles came carefully well packaged in a box, that displays the company's name, Winc.  I had a convenient handle at the top, easy for carrying around.  Inside the box were the 4 bottles, nicely nestled under crate material.  The selection I chose were 2 white and 2 reds.  I can't tell you how eager I was to tear into each one, but being the more responsible and somewhat patient person I am...I decided to open two - just to compare Winc's red and white.

I really enjoyed taste testing each wine, comparing them to my normal brand.  I hate to say this (or maybe I don't) but I really enjoyed Winc Wine better.  Maybe it's the quality, as my normal brand is probably the cheapest you can get, so it does matter (and makes a difference) in what you purchase and sometimes paying just a little bit more, is worth having a wine you know you will always love and count on.

You can take your Personal Palate Quiz and find out which wines Winc choose for you.  Remember...when you can receive $22 off your first subscription, just by being a new member.  you can visit: www.trywinc.com/usfamilyguide to get started now!

Fun and Unique Wearable Art Clothing by Drew Coh

Who doesn't love fun t-shirts, tanks and clothing?  I just love shirts that have fun logos and sayings, especially when the shirts have meaning.  T-shirts and tank tops are my favorite.  The first thing I do when I get home from work is rid of my work clothes and slip into a comfy t-shirt or tank.

Drew Coh has these fun t-shirts and tanks for both adults and kids.  The particular tank top that I especially love, is this 'Tired As A Mother' tank.  Yep, the saying says it all!  This tank is perfect for those new mommies, as well as the working mom!

The tank top I'm wearing is a Large and it's a pretty generous size.  It fits perfectly and has thinner shoulder tank straps but does not narrow toward the neck area. It's cute, fun and comfy!  And check out the style of lettering!  I love it! The tank is available at Drew Coh Etsy Shop and is available in Dark Gray, Gray, Black and Navy.  Available sizes range from Small to XLarge.

Although these are the available colors, if you do not see a tank color that you want, just shoot Melissa at Drew Coh a message and she will try to accomodate you.  Are you not particular to 'Tired As A Mother' saying?  That's okay.  Just let Melissa know what wording you want and she will be more than happy to accommodate you!

Drew Coh Etsy Shop has 28 items that range from Kids, Onesies and Adults. I've checked out some of her onesies and they are just too darn cute!  My favorite one is the kids t-shirt that says...'I'm A Giant Mess'!  This t-shirt is available in several colors, for both girls and boys and are available in sizes, 2T - 5/6.

Go check out Drew Coh for this 'Tired As A Mother' tank, as well as other unique and fun clothing items.

Memory Yoga

We all remember they memory game as kids, don't we?  You know, the game where cards are faced down and you have to turn two cards over to reveal a pair and then you have to remember where the other card was located?  Well, there's a new kind of memory game out that not only exercises your mind, but your body as well.

This memory yoga game is for people ages 3 and up, and helps to improve balance, flexibility and coordination as well as clearing your mind and calming you...as yoga is known to do. This is a fun game that two or more people can play.  It introduces yoga to children at a young age and motivates them to get more active and have fun doing it.  This game is sold for only $9.99 and can be found on Amazon.

The Memory Yoga game offers two levels of play for children (and adults) and helps boosts memory and matching skills.  It consists of 36 yoga pose tiles (18 pairs).  This is a great way to get your kids involved in some kind of physical activity.  The cards seemed very durable and good quality.  This is a totally different twist on the original Memory game.  This Memory Yoga game works just like the original Memory Game but with a little more added fun.  It's perfect for children who can't sit through a whole game, without getting antsy.  This allows children to actually PARTICIPATE in the game without getting bored.

Little Squeeze Me Reusable Food Pouches - 5 Pack

Going green has become very popular today.  Going green can mean reusing what you already have, conserving energy and resources and recycling.  Going green involves many more things, then what I have listed.  The main importance of going green, is to do what we can, to help minimize harm to the earth and environment, to stop wasting and to start recycling.

Little Squeeze Me gets the idea.  They have come out with this pack of 5, reusable food pouches.  These Little Squeeze Me food pouches are very durable and are BPA, PVC Phthalate and Lead free.  Little Squeeze Me realized that throwing away food pouches or bags is a waste and is doing nothing to help preserve our Earth's environment. These food pouches can be reused over and over again, they are dishwasher safe as well as freezer safe.

These Little Squeeze Me Food pouches hold up to 6 ounces.  They are perfect for children and adults alike.  You can use these for portion control meals, protein drinks, freezing snacks and meals in advance and so much more.  All you have to do, is remove from the freezer, thaw the pouch in warm water to defrost and your set to go.  These pouches are perfect for filling.  They are Self Standing pouches, allowing you to easily fill the pouch. They have a top zipper (to prevent any leakage), back label for name, date and the contents, round edges to  make it easier for children to hold and a Clear Fill line on the back of the pouch with measurement markings.

What better way to get your kids to eat or slurp their favorite thing, than put it in a Little Squeeze Me pouch! Whether you're on the go or busy at home, these pouches are perfect for a mess free treat!

I found that these Little Squeeze Me pouches are so easy to use.  The directions on how to use these are found on the box, that they come in.  I love the design and color of these pouches!  So neat!

To use:
Close zipper, remove cap and blow into spout, to expand the pouch to it's full shape.
Spoon or pour in food through the wide top zipper opening, up to 6 ounce fill line.

To Freeze:
Just close the zipper top, put the cap back on the bag and freeze.  When ready to remove from freezer, that the pouch in a bowl of warm water or use the frozen pouch as an ice pack in the cooler and it will be ready by lunch.

To Clean:
Open the zipper. remove the cap and rinse with warm water, expand pouch, turn upside down and place on top rack.

Tip #1 - When filling the pouches, put a spoon or two of food then expand the bottom of the pouch to open and fill up to 6 ounces. By doing this, the base stays open and can self stand. If the base is not manually spread out, then the pouch will not be able to hold 6 ounces

Tip #2 - While filling the pouches with food, if some food gets on the outside simply seal the pouch and rinse it under water

Tip #3 – Use a bottle brush to thoroughly clean the pouch with the base expanded opened. Use a nipple brush to clean the spout and to get the stubborn bits out. Continue to have the base opened and dry it in the drainer cup holder or put a small whisk in the pouch and place it upside down in a cup. The key to drying the pouches is to create airflow.

So convenient, so easy to use and a must have for little ones!
