What's My Go-To Casual Wear...T-shirts!

As we venture off into May, I am still slacking on getting that summer tan.  Normally, I already have a base tan worked up, but I just can't seem to get myself either outside, or in the tanning bed.  Guys...my legs are white as a ghost and they are embarrassing!  Luckily, I can't say that for my arms (well, at least the part not covered by a t-shirt).  And, with that being said, my go-to casual wear is just that...t-shirts!

If you've been following along with me, you know by now that t-shirts are my favorite when it comes to hanging out at home on the weekends, grocery shopping or what have you.  Not only do I love t-shirts, but those that splash a colorful slogan across the front are my favs!  Depending on what type of tee I'm wearing, I can actually turn a casual t-shirt into something a little more...um...dressy, to somewhat.

Check out how I pair each of these t-shirts up.  All the t-shirts I'm wearing are black (I love black!) but have different slogans across them.  I will say, these are by far, my favorite t-shirts by Femme Luxe Finery; not only because they fit better due to these being over sized (and they're longer), but I just love how they feel like actual t-shirts and I love these types of sayings.

The first t-shirt has the word 'Overdressed' written across the front.  It is the Overdressed, oversized t-shirt.  Out of the four tees, this is my favorite saying, because honestly...I'm NEVER overdressed and love this, especially on a t-shirt.  I like to pair black tees with matching black shorts.  I love the whole look of a black outfit, even if I'm just hanging out at home.  This, as well as the other black t-shirts shown below, will also look hot with black leather pants...that's what I call dressing a tee, up! The second oversized t-shirt has the word, 'Honey' written across it.  This, I've decided to pair up with some black leggings.  Top it off with some matching black sandals and you're all set!  You can also pair this t-shirt and black leggings up with some white sneakers; my favorite sneakers....Sketchers!

The third is the 'Perfect' oversized t-shirt.  I'm not saying I'm perfect, but...well, I think it's Perfect!  As with all the oversized t-shirts shown, this is longer than the average tee and I love the feel of an actual t-shirt fabric.

Maxi Dress and Anchor Tank Top Review from Bluetime

Two of my favorite things to wear during the summer is tank tops and summer dresses.  But when it comes to summer dresses, I will admit, I have never owned, let alone worn, a maxi dress.  I love the looks of them!  They are summery, fashionable and very much in style today.  Tank tops used to be my favorite when I was 15lbs lighter and the fitted tanks were the thing.  Now, tank tops come in many shapes, styles and fittings and I now love the loose flowy tank tops, as they seem to compliment me better.

Thanks to Bluetime on Amazon, I received both the maxi dress and the tank top!  I couldn't have been happier! The maxi dress is a long, full length dress that is solid on top and has a Chevron print from waist down. It also has a split down the bottom of the dress, to allow free movement.  I love the colors of the Chevron print.  It is a mix of orange, coral and light green with a turquoise blue top.  The dress shown below is an XL (Asian sizes run smaller than U.S., so you should order a size or two larger).  It fits perfectly!  

The material of the dress is polyester and spandex and is very comfortable.  Four sizes are available: S, M, L, XL.  Remember, order a size or two larger due to Asian sizes tend to run smaller.  The dress feels so light and silky.  

Now, to the cute anchor tank top that Bluetime sent me.  It is a white tank top that has a fishtail side (longer on the sides).  This tank is absolutely adorable!  Very simple, yet will go with anything.  I ordred an XL and it is a white tank top with multiple Navy  Blue anchors (shown below on the model).  You also have the choice to choose two other anchor tank tops, with just one anchor on the front and available in the colors, Lake Blue and Navy Blue.

If you are small frame, order two sizes bigger to get the oversized look.

This anchor tank top is made of polyester material and has an irregular hem, which I love.  There are four sizes available: S, M, L, XL.  This anchor tank top is lightweight, airy and very comfy!  It goes with blue jeans or any other shorts.  The tank top is longer on the sides (fishtail style) and the back is a racer back.

Los Angeles Fold Over Waist LA Palazzo Pants Review

Let me start by saying, I'm a huge Palazzo pants lover! Although I only have two pairs to my name, I love the many endless designs I've seen when it comes to Palazzos.  I especially love how they feel.  They are light, airy, comfy and look great on just about anyone.

I could wear Palazzo pants daily.  You can easily move in them...the legs are loose and not snug, like some jeggings or tights.  I was thrilled to receive MY pair of Palazzo pants, courtesy of LA Palazzo of Amazon.com.

LA Palazzo sent me a complimentary pair of Palazzo pants, in exchange, for an honest review.  My first pair of Palazzo pants I bought, were from a local boutique and I ended up purchasing a Large.  I recently gained a little weight, so I was concerned that the Large I received from LA Palazzo, may be too snug or wouldn't fit.  That wasn't the case.  These LA Palazzo pants fit perfectly!  

I love the fold down waist of these Palazzo pants.  They fold down, just as the Yoga pants do and this feature, actually seems to make the pants fit better and even camouflage the tummy area.  The pants are light and airy, thin and well made.  These are probably one of the most comfortable and well fitted Palazzo pants I've tried.

As you can see, the print I ended up with, was the Blue, Navy, Pink.  It has swirls of pink, shades of navy and a cornflower blue and even a little black.  I first paired the pants with a pink shirt, but decided that was a little much.  I needed a solid colored shirt to tone down the Palazzo pants.  I decided on my thin, black shirt, that's just about worn out.  It matched perfectly!
