Although it's not officially Summer yet, to me, Summer is here!  And what better way to jump into summer than with a few Summer fashion items!  Summer is one of my favorite seasons, mainly because it's time to break out those shorts, t-shirts and swim suits.  But, if you're like me, Summer is the perfect excuse to invest in some new shoes.

Women's Brown Rhinestone Studded Wedge Flip Flop Sandals- #Summer is almost here!

Spring and Summer will be here before you know it, and I can't tell you just how excited I am!  I always look forward to the warmer weather, when it's sunny, warm wind and to break out my flip flops!

Living in the South, flip flops, shorts and tank tops are a big thing...especially when it comes to comfort.  I usually start wearing my flip flops when temps start to reach the 60's...like right now, and it's only the end of February!

Anywho, these flip flops shown here, are by icandy fashions, on Ebay.  I ABSOLUTELY LOVE wedge platform type flip flops.  For some reason, I seem to be able to walk better in something with a little heel, but also that is cushioned and comfortable.

They have an almost Western look to them and they are so comfortable.  The wedge part of the sandal seems durable and does not give way or sink, as I walk in them...like some wedge sandals I have.  They are fashionable, sheek and so cool looking!

These adorable shoes shown here, are the lady bug baby shoes.  These shoes are perfect for a baby's birthday or shower gift and come in sizes 3-18 months. They are little red shoes with black dots, with a white flower that has a small ladybug attached to them.  They have a velcro closure, making them easy to slip on and off of your little baby girl.

Summer is here and boy, does the weather and temps sure show it!  I don't know how it is in your part of the country, but yesterday, it was 97 degrees here, with a heat index of 110!  And...when you live in the South, you get that muggy and humid weather with it!

Mejale Leather Moccasins for Baby

Baby shoes come in many styles and colors. Typically, when we think of newborn or baby shoes, we think of the plain white booties or white shoes with white shoestrings.  Baby shoes have come a long way, just like many other baby items.  I love unique and different baby items and shoes are no different.  A lot of us mommies love to dress our little one just like us.  If we are wearing a cute summer dress, I bet a lot of us moms will dress our little girl in a similar same colored summer dress.  Do you have a little boy?  If so, I bet dressing your little guy in blue jeans and a button down shirt, just like daddy, will turn heads when out shopping.  I love the idea of dressing our little ones up, just like us adults.  Now, I know a lot of us adults love tasseled shows and sandals and I bet we can find some moccasins, just like these adorable ones, below.

The Mejale leather moccasins are easy to put on an take off due to the elastic band that is found in the shoe.  The shoes have a generous stretch, making it easy on your baby's feet. I love the little tassel cutouts that surround the outside of the shoes.  They are just too cute and remind me of little Native American baby shoes.  I can't get over how tiny they are and how soft and nice feeling these shoes feel.

SheSole Women's Metallic Kitty Heels Sandals - #weddingshoes #summersandals

Although the temps have been just slightly warmer lately (I'm so ready for a nice warm spring or summer temps), It's still not quite warm enough to bring out the summer clothes.  Yeah, it's been a little more sunny, and we've had some pretty nice days flip flop wearing days, but that's been the extent of my summer attire!  Although it may not quite be warm enough to break out the tank tops and shorts, I can still wear summer sandals!

They have some pretty awesome looking summer and dress sandals, a style that will appeal to most anyone.  I love how low heeled these sandals are.  I used to wear a lot of wedges, and I still do, but not as often as I used to.  I have become accustomed and comfortable with my low heeled or flat footwear here lately, especially during the winter time and I can't seem to break away from the flat footwear.  These SheSole sandals are right on up there with the flat sandals.  They are very comfortable and very stylish.

How To Buy The Best Cowboy/Cowgirl Boots For Your Feet

With a lot of shoe styles, you can simply go to the store, pick out something in your size, and buy them. It is a lot different though  when  you  are  on  the  hunt  for  a  good  pair  of cowboy/cowgirl boots. After all, not all boots are made the same,  and  while  you  may  find  one  pair  to  be  the  most comfortable  boots  you have  ever  worn,  another  pair  may hurt your feet really bad and you will  hate wearing them.When it comes to buying this type of footwear, you really need to do your homework in order to be sure that you are getting the best fitting and most comfortable boots. When it comes to buying cowboy/cowgirl boots, getting the right size is crucial. Here are some tips to make sure that you get a perfect-fitting pair of boots.

Wear Socks when Trying on Boots

In most cases, you are likely going to be wearing socks when you wear your cowboy/cowgirl boots. So, it only makes sense that you wear socks (the thickness you would normally wear)when you are trying boots on. This is the only way you are going to  know for  sure if  the  boots  feel  comfortable  with your socks. It is recommended that you wear socks that are calf-length,  so  they  will  protect  your  legs  from  chafing against the insides of the boots. If you are shopping online,don’t worry. You can try the boots on when they arrive, and if they don’t fit properly or aren't comfortable, you can return them and order a different pair.

Getting the Best Fit

There are several things that you are going to want to look at when you are shopping for new boots. Some brands are meant to fit tightly around the arch, while others are looser for more movement. For most people, the tightness is simply a matter of preference, and it doesn't affect how the boots actually look. Generally, the top and ankle area should be snug to provide  support,  while  there  should  be  plenty  of wiggle room in the foot part to avoid cramped feet. To get the absolute best fit, follow these tips:

 The Ball  of  Your Foot –  Any cowboy/cowgirl  boots you choose should fit so that the ball of your foot sits on the widest area of the boot. The ball is the widest part of your foot, and you need to make sure that there will be plenty of room to avoid foot pain. If the ball of your foot is in front of or behind the widest part of the boot, try another size.

 Boot Width – It  is important to make sure that the boots are going to be wide enough for your feet. When trying on boots, stand up and look down at your feet.Can you see the stitching along the outer sole? If you can’t  see  the  stitching,  it  means  that  your  feet  are pushing against the leather, and that the boots are not wide enough.  Basically,  you want  to make sure that the boots are the correct width so you have maximum comfort.

 Toe Room –  There should be plenty of  toe room in your new boots. A good rule of thumb to go by is to have one half inch of space between your big toe and the end of the boot. If the boots you want have a toecap, this is going to take up a lot of toe room, so you may need to get a larger size to accommodate for this.

 Arch Supports – Everyone has different arches, and a boot that feels good on a person with high arches may not  be  as  comfortable  on  someone  who  has  low arches. The arch of the boot should hit right at the arch of your foot. If it does not, you can expect to have a lot of  foot  pain,  when  you  shouldn't because cowboy/cowgirl  boots  are so comfortable when sized properly.

 Instep – The instep shouldn't be too large, otherwise your foot is going to move around inside the boot and you will be uncomfortable. When trying on boots, hold the leather of the instep between your thumb and first finger, and rub your thumb across the instep leather. If it wrinkles, that means that the instep is too large and you need to get a smaller size.

 Heels – It is important that your heels don’t slip while you are wearing your boots. Yes, it is normal to have a bit of heel slippage, but no more than a quarter of an inch or so. Keep in mind that once the boots are broken in that there will  likely be no more heel slippage, as long as you have gotten the right size.

These are made in the classic western style, and can be worn with  anything from your  favorite blue jeans  to a pretty  dress.  They  are  made  from PU  leather,  and  have rubber soles so you don’t have to worry about slipping. The heel  is 1.8”  in  height,  so  these  boots  are  easy  to  wear without hurting your feet because of super-high heels. The soles are going to feel stiff for a while, and you may find the boots uncomfortable, but give it time.
