I've been hearing a lot about Plexus Slim and the different varieties they have.  One of them is the Plexus Slim Pink Drink.  I had the opportunity to try this pink drink and found myself loving it!  It's sweet, but not too sweet, and it is known to help aid in weight loss. Not only is it know for weight loss, but it was actually designed for those with Type II Diabetes. When designed for those who are diabetic, they also found that this drink gave people more energy and weight loss happened.

This drink can be taken once or twice a day, preferably 30 minutes before a meal. Instructions were pretty simple, just pour the powder mix into a 12-20 oz bottle of water, stir or shake, let sit for 30 seconds and then drink.  It's that simple!  These little packets remind me of Crystal Lite.  It's similar but with totally different benefits.  It's also said that it helps control and regulate blood sugar, cholesterol and healthy lipids.  

I have already tried three, of the five and I hope that with 5 packets, that I see some results. It's best to take this right when you first wake up in the morning.

Great Taste No Pain Health System Book

It's not very often a book catches my attention, unless it's an author I absolute love.
An author that writes books about self help, spirituality or anything in that nature.  The book below caught my attention, because the issues she discusses is one that I am all too familiar with.  Now, my issues doesn't run as deep or serious as hers did ( I say did, because she no longer has these issues), but digestion problems have always seem to be a problem with me, when I eat the wrong foods.

I've recently done a review on MeasuPro's Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor and was very very pleased with it as well as the results.  MeasuPro is a very reliable brand and I have been very pleased with their products.

Today, I am reviewing MeasuPro's BPM-20A Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor.  The Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor is exactly what it says...it is fixed to your upper arm.  The monitor has a small tube that attaches to the side of the monitor.  You would place the arm wrap around your upper arm, wrap it around until it's snug and then hit the Set 1 or Set 2 button.  These buttons will record and monitor two people's stats.  The results shows up on the LCD panel once the Blood Pressure wrap stops inflating.

I found this device very easy to use and very happy to have gotten a chance to review this product.  This monitor actually was given to my mother-in-law, as she has high blood pressure and was in dire need of one.  Thanks MeasuPro!

If you have high blood pressure, like I do, it's not something you need to play around with, neglect or throw caution to the wind about.  High blood pressure is a scary thing and it's known as the silent killer, because most people do not even know they may have high blood pressure, until they are checked out by a doctor.

11 Piece Resistance Bands Review

There are just some times I just don't feel like setting up my Bow Flex machine (letting it down and then putting it back up).  Sometimes I TRY to get a workout in by halfway doing HIIT, the best that I can, but then there are times where I just want a good toning workout...without the big bulky machines, without a tons of equipment.

The 11 Piece Resistance Bands are the perfect accessory or equipment that anyone can have.  There are different colored bands that range in different ranges of resistance or difficulty (easy to hard) and the set also comes with a set of handles, a set of ankle Velcro bands and another attachment that looks to be for triceps.

All of the above comes in it's own storage bag that has a Velcro closure.  The bands come in black, yellow, red, blue and green and each color represents the level of resistance.  Each band also has a metal clip that attaches to the other attachments (handles, ankles bands and tricep band).  

The resistance bands targets all parts of the body - chest, back, shoulders, arms and legs.  Some of the exercises you can do with these bands include: Chest Press, Seated Row, Rear Delt Fly, Lat Pulls, Tricep Extensions, Bicep Curls, Squats, Criss-Cross Outer Thigh and the Butt Blaster.

I've personally have used these bands, mainly for my arms and chest.  I can tell you, these bands, depending on the color and the resistance, can be tough!  I found that I had to go from a red (med-hard) to a blue when doing bicep curls.  I honestly believe you can get a very good toning workout from these bands and I have the sore biceps to prove it!

The 11 Piece Resistance Bands comes with a simple pamphlet, showing you the different exercises as well as instructions on how to perform each one.  It is recommended to start with a 5-10 minute warmup followed by a cool down stretch before and after your workout.  As with any exercise regimen, it's always best to consult with your doctor before attempting any workout.

I love the fact, that these bands and attachments have their own storage bag.  It makes it so much easier to keep up with all the bands and not have to see them thrown back in a corner somewhere.

VeraTemp and Non Contact Thermometer Review

I got the pleasure to receive and try out the VeraTemp & Non-contact thermometer a couple days ago.   I wanted to first start out by testing just how accurate this non-contact thermometer was.  So, I took my temp with a regular thermometer (97 degrees) and then I tested the VeraTemp and Non-Contact Thermometer, by placing it approximately 2 inches from my forehead and pressed the scan button.  The VeraTemp non-contact thermometer was right on the dot...97.5.  I'm not worried about a .5 degree difference, all I wanted to know, was how accurate this little baby was.

The VeraTemp non-contact thermometer reads body, room and surface temps and can be set to Fahrenheit or Celsius. It is not recommended to place the thermometer near a very hot oven or very hot stove top.  The thermometer is as accurate as an ear, rectal or oral thermometer, can save up to 32 readings with the built in memory, easy to read, easy to use, Battery Saving on-off feature, non-invasive and non-irritating.

The Thermometer comes with two AAA batteries, cute purple storage bag, user manual, Quick Start Card and Lanyard.  Once new batteries are installed, it could take up to 5 minutes to get the most accurate reading.  All you have to do is "point and click".



I am very pleased with how well this VeraTemp and non-contact thermometer works.  I've tested it out and found that this thermometer is pretty well accurate and is so much easier to use.  I give this product two thumbs up!
