Karamalz Malt Drink

I'll be the first to admit, I usually love to try anything new.  Anytime I see a commercial or an ad of a product I've never tried and it looks good, I want to try it.  I seem to be curious when it comes to any new beverage or drink (new to me, anyway)

Now, I don't really know how to explain the taste or flavor of this drink.  The drink that I received was the 6 pk of Karamalz Classic.  It's a malt beverage, non-alcoholic and comes from Germany.  When I opened my first bottle of Karamalz and took my first drink, I had a hard time distinguishing what flavor I was tasting....a mix between caramel and candy?  I wasn't sure.  I kept taking sips after sips, trying to figure it out.  I actually like the taste and I will tell's a different type of beverage and one, that may require an acquired taste for.

Karamalz contains no additives and made exclusively from pure water, hops, malt and caramelized sugar ( it does have a caramel taste after all!)  The bottles are 330ml and dark in color, presumably, to protect the flavor.  The bottles remind me of a beer bottle, but it's definitely non-alcoholic.

Karamalz provides healthy carbs plus vitamins, minerals and trace elements.  Karamalz is great for fitness and well being, sports and for health and spirit.

  •      supports the energy-nutrient-vitamin and mineral balance
  •      supports the immune system
  •      contains cholesterol-reducing malt and hop substances
  •      quickly restores energy after sports
  •      promotes the ability to concentrate and react
  •      improves the stress bearing ability
  •      supports the well being

This seems like a great malt beverage that has many health benefits as well as providing over all well being.  Maybe this is what I need after a stressful day!  Karamalz not only comes in it's classic version, but they also have a Fresh Lemon flavor.  I can't wait to try the Fresh Lemon flavor....Lemon mixed with a caramel flavor...hmmm.

Over all, this is a very unique and different beverage.  I've never tastes anything like this before and it really does keep you guessing...what the taste reminds you of.  I was very intrigued by this drink, and knowing now of the benefits of what this beverage has to offer, I'm more curious to see what will come after a continued use of this product.
