Glow 2 Go Tanning Towelettes Review & Giveaway!

If you're like me, you probably like to keep a tan, or at least have one, during the summer.  Now that it's winter, some of us have slacked off on the tanning (I mean, come on, who's going to see our legs in the winter time?).  But, I do know a few people who like to tan during the winter, just to keep a hint of color.  This, to them, is the best time to tan, as it's cool outside and you don't get nearly as hot.

Well I'll admit...I'm lazy when it comes to getting into a tanning bed, even during the summer time (And I own a tanning bed)!  But with all the talk and concern about tanning in a tanning bed or even tanning outside, it's just not safe to use the bed anymore.  With the fear of Melanoma and Cancer, it's just a scary thing to set foot (or body) into a tanning bed.

That is why I was happy to get the opportunity to try out Therma Labs Glow 2 Go Tanning Towelettes. I first used the towelettes today, about an hour ago.  I will admit, when I first opened the package, I was expecting to see a towelette covered in at least, some type of color....I didn't.  As a matter of fact, these towelettes looked clear, just like a baby's wipe.  After I buffed my legs real good and patted them dry, I ran a tanning cloth over them.  I didn't really see a big difference and I didn't see any of the tanning solution on my hands from using them.  I then began going over my whole body with the tanning towelette and eventually had to grab another one, as the first one was no longer damp.

The instructions that I received with the Glow 2 Go tanning towelettes did state: That it reacts to each persons amino acids in the body to get the natural looking glow and if you wanted to deepen or enhance the color, wait 4 hours and apply another towelette.  According to Therma Labs your tone should peak in a few days.  After you've reached your tone, then begin using 1 to 2 towelettes every two to three days to maintain.  Therma Labs also states that 1 in 1,000 may not see results, therefore, they will give you a full refund of the product if for any reason you are not satisfied.   Sooooo...it looks like I will have to wait a couple more days to see my result, although I did see a very faint hint of color.

You will NOT get a dark tanned look the very minute you use these.  That is why Therma Labs designed these to gradually build your tone, so you don't get that unnatural and bronzy orange look.  After you've reached your tone, your color should last up to two weeks.  It is recommended that you do not shave within 24 hours before using these towelettes and that you scrub and exfoliate your skin for the best results.  Once applied, you need to wait at least 10 minutes before getting dressed.
