Resin Solar Garden Turtle

I'm a fan of small garden accents and decor, but only recently started adding these things to my back yard due to several yard renovations.

This adorable turtle has a solar panel on its back with solar lights as its eyes.  Even without the lighted eyes, this resin turtle looks so cute...those eyes!!

There is a small button on its back that you push, to turn on.  It has to be in the sun, or at least have half a day if sunlight for the eyes to light up at night.

Crunchy Buddy Biscuit Dog Treats - All Natural Flavors Your Dog Will Love

How are all my doggy parents doing during this pandemic?  If you've been keeping up with my blog posts (and I truly love each and every one of you who do) you know I recently posted about Buddy Biscuit Chewy Jerky Treats a couple weeks ago.  These jerky treats were my dogs favorites and they absolutely devoured them!

What's My Go-To Casual Wear...T-shirts!

As we venture off into May, I am still slacking on getting that summer tan.  Normally, I already have a base tan worked up, but I just can't seem to get myself either outside, or in the tanning bed.  Guys...my legs are white as a ghost and they are embarrassing!  Luckily, I can't say that for my arms (well, at least the part not covered by a t-shirt).  And, with that being said, my go-to casual wear is just that...t-shirts!

If you've been following along with me, you know by now that t-shirts are my favorite when it comes to hanging out at home on the weekends, grocery shopping or what have you.  Not only do I love t-shirts, but those that splash a colorful slogan across the front are my favs!  Depending on what type of tee I'm wearing, I can actually turn a casual t-shirt into something a little more...um...dressy, to somewhat.

Check out how I pair each of these t-shirts up.  All the t-shirts I'm wearing are black (I love black!) but have different slogans across them.  I will say, these are by far, my favorite t-shirts by Femme Luxe Finery; not only because they fit better due to these being over sized (and they're longer), but I just love how they feel like actual t-shirts and I love these types of sayings.

Enjoying One-On-One Time With My Little Chef

I don't know what it is, but every time I'm in the kitchen, my little two year old grandson wants to help his Gigi cook.  I can hear his cute little voice saying, "Gigi, I wanna cook."  Of course, I'm going to let him help me.  It's the only way for my grandson, Brody, to get interested in  not only cooking, but using his imagination and helping with the cleanup, afterwards.

Printed Leggings by Svogue Vaner

I'm not going to lie...I am huge on dressing and being comfortable in what I am wearing.  I went through a phase where I wanted to wear the top trending fashions, no matter how tight or how uncomfortable they were.  now, as I am getting older, I lean more towards what makes ME feel good.

Leggings have always been a huge part of my wardrobe and that will probably never change.  They are versatile, trendy and comfy.  You can find almost any top to go with leggings.  You can dress them up...or down and they come in many colors, styles and designs.

The leggings that I am wearing here are the Svogue Vaner High Waisted Tummy Control Leggings.  What I love about these leggings (besides the design) is that they have this wide waist band (not the skinny ones you used to see) and it makes these leggings very easy to wear, not to mention, control that tummy...just a little bit.

They are made of 92% polyester and 8% spandex.  They are said not to fade or shrink.  They will not dig into your legs like some leggings and will not cause irritation. They are very form fitting, which makes them perfect for long tunics, shirt dresses or even a sporty shirt and jacket.  Oh...and did I mention that these leggings feel so soft...and yes...comfortable!

I normally tend to stick with the solid colored leggings, especially black, but I have begun to come out of my comfort zone and try some of these cute printed leggings.  I love them on other people, such as my friends and co-workers, but never really thought about wearing them myself....What do you guys think?

The first item is the awesome Neon Green Satin Buttoned Up Tie Front Shirt. The size of this shirt is size 14 and fits me perfectly!  I was skeptical, at first, mainly because it didn't look like a size 14, but my mind was put at ease when I tried it on.  It's so satiny, smooth and falls into place.  It has a tie front, collar and cuffed sleeves and how cool would this look with a pair of faux leather or PU pants?  Or...add a pair of distressed blue jean shorts, with this shirt. This shirt is just as pretty, if not prettier, in person. Love, Love, Love this shirt! 

The next two items are similar and the same as another item, but since it fits so well and is very comfortable, I decided to order it in the colors Khaki (olive green) and black color.  It is the Short Sleeve Boxy Lounge Wear set that has a matching pant to the top, with the pants having pockets and a drawstring attached to the front of the pants.  The top is about a mid length top, hitting me right above my hips and barely covering my lower stomach area. If you are taller, this shirt may hit you right about your hips.  I'm in love with the fabric.  It's super soft, not thin...but not too thick either. The outfit does have some stretch, making this the perfect lounge wear to lounge in.  The size I chose in this is a Med/Large (12-14)

The last item is another one of my favorites.  It too, is a similar top I have from Femme Luxe Finery, but has this large bronze-y lip on the front AND...has a hoodie!  It's the Black Gold Lip Print Hoodie.  It has long sleeves, a little on the thicker side than my other sweater, but feels so comfy and warm (not like you're actually gonna wear it this summer!)  The front graphic of the bronze-y lip is what caught my attention and I knew I had to have this hoodie...yes, it's an actually hoodie!  If I'm gonna wear a hoodie...I don't want it to be plain looking and let me tell ya...this is DEFINITELY NOT PLAIN!  The size of this hoodie is XL (14/16) but could have went with a Large...but I'm not complaining because I love my hoodies (especially in the winter) on the larger side.

What Did I Find at Femme Luxe Finery? - New Items Coming Soon

Today, I received a couple more items from Femme Luxe Finery.  This time, I have only two items to show, BUT...I just found out, that Femme Luxe Finery has added over 50 more NEW items to their site!  I can't tell you how ecstatic I was, because the choices I previously had, was dwindling down...fast!

Don't get me wrong, they still had plenty of items for me to choose from, but like I've said before, I don't have the perfect body and some of the items available, well...let's just say would not fit my body the way I would want them (or, more less fit.)

I can't wait to show you more of the items that Femme Luxe Finery has added, but in the meantime, here are the two items I received today.  The first item is a shirt dress I had ordered before, but decided to order it again in size Large.  The first time I ordered this shirt dress, it was a size XL and looked really cute with my black leggings, but felt I could actually go with the Large size, so it would be more of a shorter version of the first.  Although I went with the Large size, it was still pretty long (I'm all okay with that!)  This actually did fit smaller all away round and I feel that this size actually works best as a shirt dress!

It's the Black Lips Printed Oversized Long Sleeve Shirt.  Sizes available are: XS - XL.  What I love about this shirt is the bright red lips against the blue and black.  The print on the shirt dress is like it's already made into it, instead of being a screen printed shirt. Sexy Finds at Femme Luxe Finery - Affordable Fashion

You guys already know I'm a huge fan of Femme Luxe Finery's clothes.  They are affordable, cute, sexy and somewhat casual at the same time.  You can find clothes for any special occasion or event (or even just lounging around) at Femme Luxe Finery.

I am going to have to confess one thing though...this last batch of cute clothes I was not able to wear, as much, as I have gained quite a bit of weight, so some of the pictures will feature the model, instead.  I am short; 5'2" and I now weigh around 167lbs.  That's a lot of weight for a short person and I can't just stretch it out from being tall.

With all that being said, I still love Femme Luxe Finery's clothes; I still want to try other sexy clothes they have, but I'm going to have to lose some of this weight!  Femme Luxe Finery's clothes are always comfortable.  The quality of the material is very well high quality and a lot of the clothes just seems to give more when I'm trying them on.

Grey High Neck Cropped Loungewear Set - Ella

I am in love with this two piece loungewear set...but it's not in love with my body!  This is a super comfy casual (or dressy) outfit that stretches so very comfortably.  The set is a knit fabric and although I CAN wear it, I'm no model and I have a stomach, hips, etc.  I can see myself wearing the knit leggings with a long dressy shirt, but the crop top...I'll leave that to the model!  The leggings are a high waist legging and the top has a high neck as well.  The top is actually a mid rif type turtle neck and would look so cute on someone smaller than me.

Black Belted One Shoulder Jumpsuit - Evelyn

Ok...I was a little worried about this one, mainly because I don't look right in ANY KIND of jumpsuit, but I thought, "Hey...why not give it a try!"  I actually like this jumpsuit.  Yes, I do have a protruding stomach and no, it doesn't look like it does on the model, but all-in-all, it was very comfy as well, I love the whole, one shoulder thing and I can see myself wearing this when I lose that extra weight.  

The only thing about this jumpsuit...it doesn't have a zipper to where you can just unzip and slide into the jumpsuit (if it does...I didn't see it.)  I had to step inside the jumpsuit from the top and pull it up over me.  I was actually shocked to see the jumpsuit stretch to fit me....a big plus in my books!  The jumpsuit does have a matching tie belt, which you will not see in my photo, as I didn't want to appear any choppier and wanted to elongate my body as much as possible.

This jumpsuit is both body hugging and loose fitting at the same time. The top part down to the hip area is body hugging while the legs are on the more loose side.

Grey Crop Jumper Loungewear Set - Deanna

Cute, cute, cute...but I cannot wear it.  Well...Okay, I can, but with a little bulge hanging out everywhere.  I have not worn a crop top since I was in my 20's, but this two piece lounge set is really my style.  It's sad, though, that I may only be wearing the pants of this set.  The lounge set features a cropped top that is long sleeve and a pant set that has slim fitting cuffed legs.  The drawstring that you see serves no purpose, as it does not tighten or loosen...it's just for looks.  I will have to say, the outfit, once again, is really soft and comfortable and would look great on someone similar to the looks of the model.

You can pair this set up with some sneakers and you are set to go!

Khaki Stripe Hooded Crop Sweater Jumper - Gia

As you can see, the first photo of this khaki green hooded crop sweater is me and the second photo is the model.  I've said it plenty of times, but although this cute hooded crop sweater fit me with no problems, I was not going to show my fat rolls.  I wanted you to give you the whole picture of this cute top, by showing it on the model.  This crop top is very warm, very soft and somewhat thick.  You have the option of wearing it with leggings, jeans or even cropped biker shorts.  I love this crop hoodie...but not on me.

I want to get one thing straight.  When I say I don't like something on me or don't like how it looks on me, it's not because of Femme Luxe Finery.  It's because my body has extra weight, to me and in my opinion, I do not feel comfortable showing my body in it.  There are many plus size girls who have come to terms with their body; who loves their body and will show it off in all the hot, stylish clothes; but I, myself, have not gotten there yet.
