Sexy Finds at Femme Luxe Finery - Affordable Fashion

You guys already know I'm a huge fan of Femme Luxe Finery's clothes.  They are affordable, cute, sexy and somewhat casual at the same time.  You can find clothes for any special occasion or event (or even just lounging around) at Femme Luxe Finery.

I am going to have to confess one thing though...this last batch of cute clothes I was not able to wear, as much, as I have gained quite a bit of weight, so some of the pictures will feature the model, instead.  I am short; 5'2" and I now weigh around 167lbs.  That's a lot of weight for a short person and I can't just stretch it out from being tall.

With all that being said, I still love Femme Luxe Finery's clothes; I still want to try other sexy clothes they have, but I'm going to have to lose some of this weight!  Femme Luxe Finery's clothes are always comfortable.  The quality of the material is very well high quality and a lot of the clothes just seems to give more when I'm trying them on.

Grey High Neck Cropped Loungewear Set - Ella

I am in love with this two piece loungewear set...but it's not in love with my body!  This is a super comfy casual (or dressy) outfit that stretches so very comfortably.  The set is a knit fabric and although I CAN wear it, I'm no model and I have a stomach, hips, etc.  I can see myself wearing the knit leggings with a long dressy shirt, but the crop top...I'll leave that to the model!  The leggings are a high waist legging and the top has a high neck as well.  The top is actually a mid rif type turtle neck and would look so cute on someone smaller than me.

Black Belted One Shoulder Jumpsuit - Evelyn

Ok...I was a little worried about this one, mainly because I don't look right in ANY KIND of jumpsuit, but I thought, "Hey...why not give it a try!"  I actually like this jumpsuit.  Yes, I do have a protruding stomach and no, it doesn't look like it does on the model, but all-in-all, it was very comfy as well, I love the whole, one shoulder thing and I can see myself wearing this when I lose that extra weight.  

The only thing about this jumpsuit...it doesn't have a zipper to where you can just unzip and slide into the jumpsuit (if it does...I didn't see it.)  I had to step inside the jumpsuit from the top and pull it up over me.  I was actually shocked to see the jumpsuit stretch to fit me....a big plus in my books!  The jumpsuit does have a matching tie belt, which you will not see in my photo, as I didn't want to appear any choppier and wanted to elongate my body as much as possible.

This jumpsuit is both body hugging and loose fitting at the same time. The top part down to the hip area is body hugging while the legs are on the more loose side.

Grey Crop Jumper Loungewear Set - Deanna

Cute, cute, cute...but I cannot wear it.  Well...Okay, I can, but with a little bulge hanging out everywhere.  I have not worn a crop top since I was in my 20's, but this two piece lounge set is really my style.  It's sad, though, that I may only be wearing the pants of this set.  The lounge set features a cropped top that is long sleeve and a pant set that has slim fitting cuffed legs.  The drawstring that you see serves no purpose, as it does not tighten or loosen...it's just for looks.  I will have to say, the outfit, once again, is really soft and comfortable and would look great on someone similar to the looks of the model.

You can pair this set up with some sneakers and you are set to go!

Khaki Stripe Hooded Crop Sweater Jumper - Gia

As you can see, the first photo of this khaki green hooded crop sweater is me and the second photo is the model.  I've said it plenty of times, but although this cute hooded crop sweater fit me with no problems, I was not going to show my fat rolls.  I wanted you to give you the whole picture of this cute top, by showing it on the model.  This crop top is very warm, very soft and somewhat thick.  You have the option of wearing it with leggings, jeans or even cropped biker shorts.  I love this crop hoodie...but not on me.

I want to get one thing straight.  When I say I don't like something on me or don't like how it looks on me, it's not because of Femme Luxe Finery.  It's because my body has extra weight, to me and in my opinion, I do not feel comfortable showing my body in it.  There are many plus size girls who have come to terms with their body; who loves their body and will show it off in all the hot, stylish clothes; but I, myself, have not gotten there yet.

Femme Luxe Finery has clothes for many occasions and events.  Every single piece of clothing that I have tried by Femme Luxe Finery, has been of utmost high quality material, stretches to fit without stretching out of shape and doesn't lose it's shape when washed.  I am a huge fan of Femme Luxe Finery's clothes and always will be.

Westmoreland English Hobnail Glass Luncheon Set- Great For Parties

Past few weeks, I've been planning for not one, but two, baby showers.  Baby showers can sometimes be as almost stressful as wedding showers, with all the planning, making sure you have all the necessities, with hopes that you have everything you need for the party.

From thinking about everything I need for the 'theme' of the party to whether I've covered all basics, I tend to find myself trying to make everything perfect...or as near perfect as I can.

One of the things I find as a must have, is glassware.  Any type of glass dishes, bowls or candy cups that will add elegance to a party.  The glass set shown here, is the Westmoreland English Hobnail Glass Luncheon Set, sold by Invitingly Vintage, on Etsy.

This Westmoreland English Hobnail Glass Luncheon Set comes with 6 pieces.  It consists of 2 luncheon plates, 2 grapefruit bowls and 2 condiment cups.  This luncheon set is absolutely gorgeous!  The way the glassware shines underneath the lights, it's so beautifully made!

The set was made in Westmoreland between 1920-1940's.  The plates have an overall pattern of English Hobnail, along the edge of the plates, with a sawtooth rim.  The bottom of the plates have a pressed glass geometric pattern, very unique and elegant. The condiment or dip cups are small, dainty and have an English Hobnail pattern, as well as a pedestal base and a sawtooth rim.

The dimensions of the set are:

• Grapefruit Bowls - 1 3/8 inches tall & 6 3/4" wide
• Luncheon Plates-   8 1/4 inches tall 
• Nut/candy/condiment cups - 3 inches long, 2 inches tall & 1 3/4 inches wide

NuoReel Jeweled Halter Neckline Open Back Long #EveningDress

In about 9 months, I will be setting sail on my first, ever cruise!  There are so many thoughts going through my head how this cruise will be, and in a way, I'm just a tad bit scared (you know, the Titanic and all!).  But, after talking to several friends who've been on several cruises, it's one of the best things and one of the best vacations you can go on.

I've done some researching and found out, that there are a lot of restaurants that require you to dress up.  Restaurants where, one night, you have to wear a dress or jacket and tie. Now, I will say, I'm not much on wearing dresses (unless it's a wedding or summer dress), but I know I will need something a little more elegant when dining on this cruise.

Thanks to NuoReel, they were generous enough to send me this BEAUTIFUL dress.  I mean, it's absolutely gorgeous.  Now mind you, this is not a dress you would wear everyday, but on those special occasions, you can bet I will be wearing this.  Like many gals, I do like to get dressed up every now and then and wearing a dress like this will hopefully make me feel like a million dollars (okay, maybe not a million!), but either way, I can't wait to wear it!

The Jeweled Halter Neckline Evening dress has an open back and an open front.  The opening in the front dips down quite a bit, as well as the back.  The neckline features a gorgeous gold tone jeweled metallic collar.  The neck or shoulder part of the dress can be slid either way, allowing you to expose more or less.  It has a nice drapery right in front of the dress, starting from the waist, on down.  It gives almost like a silhouette to the dress, making this dress look elegant, sophisticated and luxurious.  The dress features a long train in the back (and since I'm only 5'2", this will be extra long for me!)

The Jeweled Halter Neckline Open Back Long Evening Dress is machine washable, but is recommended to either hang dry or dry clean, when drying.  I love how this dress just seems to drape and contour to the body! I would say that this dress may compliment many body types.  I am not slim by no means, and I do carry a little weight on me, especially in the stomach and back area, but with this dress, it hides the tummy area with the drapery that hangs down in the front.  YES!  This dress gave the illusion of a longer, sleeker body, hid the tummy area and felt really really comfortable!  The dress has a nice stretch to it, allowing it to contour to the body.  I really love this dress, but a few alterations may need to be done, such as taking up the shoulder area so the back of the dress is more taught, instead of loose and maybe a little taken off of the length...either way, this dress is a keeper!

You would think that this elegant looking dress would cost a fortune, but guess what?  NuoReel, on Amazon, has this dress listed at only $26.87!  That's cheaper than a pair of jeans!  If you have a special event coming up (such as Valentine's Day), an evening out or maybe a wedding, this would be the perfect black dress!  The Halter dress is also available in a Camel color.  This dress comes in one size (US size 4-8), but I would say I'm right around a 10 and this dress fits me.

Julie Jewellery - Women's Stainless Steel Rose Gold Finish Fashion Ring with Stunning Fuchsia Dome Gemstone

Jewelry is one of the 'must haves' when it comes to fashion.  Fashion is much more than clothing, hair and makeup.  Without jewelry, a wardrobe would look bare...naked, and we just can't have that!  Jewelry is like that finishing touch you add, to complete an 'almost finished' look.

Now, back to the ring.  The Stainless Steel Rose Gold Finish Fashion Ring has a Fuchsia dome glass gemstone, adorned on top of the Rose Gold Finished ring.  The Fuchsia is a bright color and has that 'statement' look that I love.  The gemstone is round and smooth, no rough edges.  Where this ring day or night and the gemstone itself, looks almost like a cat eye gemstone, due to the way it's been cut.

The ring will not rust, nor corrode, due to the stainless steel finish. Easy to care and maintain and the ring comes with it's own black velvet drawstring pouch.  Very beautiful ring that will surely make a great fashionable cocktail ring.  The ring is absolutely gorgeous in person and the rose gold and the fuchsia pink go really well together.
