Lilax Little Girls Bowknot Dance Tutu Skirt with Headband

It seems, that every where you turn, tutus are making a come back (as if they've ever gone out of style!)  Tutus are perfect for parties, birthdays, dance recitals and practice as well as many other events.

Tutus are really popular for newborns and toddlers, as they are a great photo prop for pictures.  Tutus have also been known to show up at weddings as attire for flower girls.  Whatever the event or occasion, tutus will always be something that a new mom will at least think about for their little ones.

Most tutus are completely enclosed, without any kind of opening.  Not this tutu. The tutu is looped securely and tightly around a small elastic with every piece of tulle hanging perfectly in place.  The headband is made of a soft elastic, gentle enough for any baby's head.  The headband features a cute matching tulle flower, that goes perfectly with the tutu.

The tutu and headband is perfect if you have a little girl getting ready for a dance recital or practice as well as a photo shoot.  As with all of Lilax's girls items, this tutu is made in Turkey.  The tutu may appear flat and lifeless when it arrives, but all you have to do is separate the each tulle, shake it out and fluff it up a bit to give it more volume.

You may have seen several posts lately, that I have done, regarding baby photo props.  These seem to be a hot items right now, especially with newborns and infants.  Photo prop are those extra added elements, added to a baby's professional (or photos done by yourself), that add that special touch and final finishing to a photo.  As mentioned before, photo props can include a wash tub, tutu, knitted outfit and even a soft plush blanket.

It's suitable for newborns from 0-6 months and has an elastic band.  The band on the tiara I received was a light tan looking band.  As you can see in the photo, the tiara doesn't look big in my hands, but on a newborn's head, will probably be the right size.  I will add, when I first received this Crystal Crown Tiara Slider Baby Headband and I opened the package, the tiara looked as if it was hot glued to the bottom of the tiara...no big deal...but the tiara was halfway coming off of the headband and by the looks of the photos I've seen, the band should be located in the middle of the tiara, not the bottom.  It also states it's a slider, but I had not been able to figure this out.

Luckily, I know how to operate a glue gun and I just re-glued the tiara back onto the elastic headband...like I said...no big deal, but I would liked to have seen it all put together.  It really is a cute accessory for your little girl and for the price, I think it's really reasonable.
