Baby Shower Cake Diaper Tutu and Topping by 3 Trucks & A Tiara

You've probably seen all the diaper cakes out there on Etsy, Pinterest and Facebook, with all the different themes, colors, styles and creativity that has been put into them.  They can be as simple or as extravagant that you make them.

If you already have a cake diaper made, especially for a little girl, you may want to check out toppings and centerpieces for them.  3 Trucks & A Tiara, on Etsy, has this simple pink tutu and topping that will go perfect for any princess girl's theme baby shower.  

You can create your own unique diaper cake with this tutu and Sweet Baby Topping, shown here.  Keep in mind, this is only for the tutu and the topping. The tutu goes around your diaper cake or slightly under your diaper cake. The topping is placed on top of the diaper cake.  

The tutu is two toned, with light pink and bright pink and is on a small elastic band.  If you would prefer just a solid color tutu, then that can be arranged as well, just let 3 Trucks & A Tiara know.  Each piece of tulle is approximately 6.5 inches long, from the band.

The topping for the diaper cake comes with a 6" topping with an unattached lollipop stick.  This is so you can place the topping as you like, or not have a stick at all.  If you want to attache the lollipop stick to the topper, just add a small dab of hot glue and attach.  There are three different toppers you can choose from; Sweet Baby, Sweet Princess and Pink Ballerina Tutu (with your child's age number).

It's A Girl Baby Shower Decorations

In as little as two more months, I will be hosting a baby shower.  Not only will I be hosting a baby shower in September, but I also will be co-hosting one next month.  The first baby shower, in August, is held by my step-daughter's mom, with me being a co-host.  She has done most of the planning for my step-daughter's shower, with decorations and all, but I get to put a lot of the crafts together as well as making the cup cakes.

The second baby shower....Well, I can say I'm just as thrilled, as the decorations, location and organizing the most part of it.  She had already decided on the theme...Pink & Gold Princess theme.  This was going to be fun, but also a little stressful getting everything together, making sure that I had everything I needed.
 

Thanks to some awesome people, the decorations are beginning to come around.  I'm very thankful that Konsait, a seller on Amazon, has sent me this cute 'It's A Girl' banner along with the pink and white tissue paper pom poms. For only $14.99, you get a set that includes an 'It's A Girl' banner, 6 white and 6 pink tissue paper pom poms.

The banner is made of a sturdy card stock like material, that has black lettering, spelling out, 'It's A Girl.'  In between the words, there is a heart card.  The banner is made out to look like a baby onesie...so adorable!  The cards come pre-punched, so you don't have to worry about punching any holes, yourself.  It also comes with a pretty pink ribbon (not the curling kind), that you can thread through the cards.

The pom poms comes in three different sizes...2x8, 2x10 & 2x14.  And remember, you get these three sizes in pink and white!  The pom poms are made of tissue paper with a gold ribbon wrapped around the middle.  All you have to do is unfold the tissue toward another, separate each tissue and form into a pom pom.  There is already a white string attached, to hang it from the ceiling.

Tis the season to jolly! When decorating for Christmas and for the holidays, I think about all the colorful lights I can decorate inside my home, as well as the outside.  I love color when it comes to Christmas lights, as that is what I grew up with as a child.  Decorating the inside of my home usually involves Christmas tree, garland, lights, stockings and any other Christmas decor I have around.  I also l love candles, but those can sometimes be hazardous if left unattended, especially near curtains.

Halloween is getting near!

Halloween is just right around the corner and I'm still not done decorating my yard.  I don't go to extremes, not by no means, but I do like to add a little Halloween spirit to my yard. There are many great ideas on Pinterest that I would love to do....it's just finding the time. 

I just may find the time this weekend, since I decided to take a couple days off work (paid of course) and take some photos of what I DO have done.  I do plan on adding more, as the week goes on, but take a look of what I have so far.  I want to thank #ScaryPeeper and #PartyCheap for supplying me these awesome Halloween props.  Without these, my yard would look like everyone else's.  

Who is he waiting for?  You?  This is so real looking, especially at night!  He is the Scary Peeper.  Prop him outside your window, looking in, and see how many people you can scare!

This Scary Peeper Skeleton has rats already around him!  It seems he's waiting for the mail lady!  I'm sure my mail lady is not too fond of him!

Scare Yourself and Others - #ScaryPeeper

The time is rolling around, where many will be decorating for Halloween.  Halloween, to me, is a fun time to dress up, decorate my house and yard with some scary props and watch little Trick-or-Treaters go from house to house, collecting as much candy as they can.

I love Halloween.  One of the things I love to do is decorate my yard.  This can sometimes start a month away from the holiday, when my head starts reeling with all the ideas of how I want my yard to look, making it spooky.  Well, Okay, my house and yard may not be that spooky on Halloween, but at least I try!  I love the ghouls, ghosts, monsters and any other scary props. I love original ideas as well as something a little different.

This original Scary Peeper is perfect just right outside your window, peeping in....or you can have him peeping out at the trick-or-treaters as they come up to your home!

One of the things I've recently received was the Scary Peeper.  Oh my gosh!  These things look almost real and could scare the bejeezes out of anyone! Scary Peeper is a mom and pop company, that came up with this unique Halloween prop, to create a 3D, real looking props, to not only yourself, but others. Most of these props are made to be hung on the outside of your window, looking in.  Can you imagine pulling open your curtains or blinds, only to see a face or worse yet, a clown staring inside your window? 

The best place for the intruder, if you want to scare yourself and others entering your home, is right around a door or a corner of a wall. Have him peeping around a wall when someone enters that room.  It will scary even those who live with you, especially in the middle of the night when you're going for that late night snack or drink of water!

I'm thinking about moving my intruder somewhere else. As you can see, he's not very visible in my window.
