Affordable and Fun Fashion - Femme Luxe Finery

Good morning guys and gals...or evening to those across the country!  These past two weeks have been kind of a roller coaster for me, from doctor visits, work, etc, but it's all getting better!  As usual, work has been kind of hectic, slowed down a bit, but still...hectic.  But you know what...I wouldn't change it a bit.

I've been attempting to lose some weight (noticed I said tempting).  It's not as easy to stay on a specific diet or eating plan, whether it be Keto, Low Carb, clean eating, etc, but I WILL DO IT!  I'm trying to stay positive, and for the most part, I am...I guess I'm just a little impatient and, at times, get discouraged, but by the Summer of 2021, my plans are to have lost at least 
50 lbs.

This is one of my favorite tees by Femme Luxe Finery.  It is the Black Leopard Print 'Femme La Mode' Slogan Print T-Shirt.  I already have this black shirt with the pink and black leopard print lips, but I really wanted one that was black with the gold/yellow lips.  These shirts are available in larger sizes (which I love) and let me tell you, they are so much more roomy-er than their original t-shirts. I didn't notice at the time I got this, but this shirt matches my leopard print pajama pants perfectly!  These t-shirts also seem to have a bit more stretch (big plus for me!).

The second item is also a tee.  Once again, I love slogan tees, and this one has "No Bad Vibes".  I love it!  I love when a tee has a slogan that is so appropriate and has positive messages written across them.  Not in black, but in pink, is the Pink 'No Bad Vibes' Oversized T-Shirt.  This shirt is considered over-sized but I do feel as if it fits a little more 'not over-sized' for me.  It's probably due to the fact I ordered a size smaller, being it was considered over-sized.  Either way, it fits perfectly and I love it!  This shirt is available in white, black and pink.

The third item is another set that I currently own, but in a different color.  I knew when I received my first one, I had to have another in a different color.  This is the Taupe & Black Oversized Hoodie Shorts Loungewear Set.  This short set is thicker than your average short set, but can be worn during the Spring, Summer and maybe Fall.  The hoodie jacket is sleeveless and has pockets on each side with a zip up front.  The shorts have a drawstring and let me mention, these shorts are super comfy!  Add a long sleeve shirt under the jacket and it can be worn during the warmer part of Fall.

Comfy Wear - All From Femme Luxe Finery

 I can definitely tell that Summer has finally made it!  80 degree weather, sunny (not to mention a lot of rain) and to the point where the air has to finally be turned on!  Being that I live in Southeast Missouri, the boothheel to be exact, you never know what kind of weather you are going to get.  It could be 80 degree one day and then, without warning, you wake up to 50 to 60 degree weather...it can be crazy sometimes!

The third item is the Black Crewneck Oversized T-Shirt.  This is your basic black tee that can be worn with ANYTHING!  I chose this black oversized t-shirt, for one, it goes perfect with my black leggings.  Second...I can wear this shirt with any colored bottoms I want.  Dress it up or dress it down, either way, it's what I call my little black dress...but in a shirt!  It's super comfy and when worn with silver jewelry, it really pumps up this basic t-shirt a notch!  This shirt would be super cute with some denim blue jeans, denim shorts paired with some leopard print platform sandals.

Femme Luxe Finery December Haul- My Fashion Finds For This Month

Good morning, Luxe Gals!  Today (actually, past three weeks), I've been battling a dreadful cold and can't seem to shake it.  Just when I thought I was getting better...BAM! it hits full force.  It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for this persistent cough!  It's very annoying, keeps me awake at night and during the day, I'm sure my co-workers are tired of hearing it.  Anywho...let's take a look at what awesome finds I found at Femme Luxe Finery this month.

My Favorite Winter Fashion Finds...And Where You Can Get Yours Too!

Although it's still the middle of November, Winter has finally found us!  In Missouri, we went from 60 degrees to 25 degrees in one weekend.  That is just how Southeast Missouri rolls.  Once it starts getting closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas, you may have a few warm days...and all of a sudden...snow and ice is here!

There is only one thing I want to do when cold weather hits, and that is stay inside, cozy and warm, with a nice hot cup of cocoa or coffee.  But...staying home doesn't pay the bills, so it's off to work I go.  I know I'm going to stay warm with Femme Luxe Finery's clothes.  Not only will I stay warm, but I'm also going to be sporting some of the most affordable fashion ever!

The first two items, shown here, are perfect for that cold weather!  It's warm, cozy and comfortable!  I know you've heard me say it many times, but these knitted jumpers and sweaters by Femme Luxe Finery are so, so soft and comfy!  being that I love oversized jumper sweaters, I chose two!  One of a stone color and the other...a cream.  These jumpers are somewhat similar, but different at the same time.  The stone colored one has a side split, allowing you to wear it as a regular sweater, but with a split side, for the most comfortable wear, and the other, the cream colored one, is the Long Line Split Jumper, that allows you to tie the front of the sweater, which is SO different!  Both jumper sweaters have the long sleeves that have plenty of room in them, not binding like a lot of sweaters I've worn.  Being that these jumpers are knitted, they have a little stretch to them.

The next outfit, I already own, but in a brown color.  I love the brown so much, that I had to have this in black!  It is the Black Ribbed Belted Loungewear Set.  It has long sleeves, V-neck front and comes with a thin matching fabric belt.  If you're like me, you can just wear this without the belt!  Either way, you can dress this loungewear set up, or pair it down with some comfy sneakers.  This loungewear set, of course, comes with matching leggings, making this the perfect outfit for those Christmas or Thanksgiving holidays when you just want to lounge around the house, but still look as if you're ready to go out at any time!

Dressing Like A Lady Boss - Femme Luxe Finery Has Me Covered

When it comes to dressing like a lady boss, I'm no pro at it.  Myself, I like to dress down in leggings and a long shirt...loose and comfortable and trying to dress somewhat as the younger generation.  Sometimes...me and my clothes just don't match perfectly...until there was Femme Luxe Finery!

Ever since I got promoted to loan officer (I was originally a loan coordinator), I knew I had to start dressing the part; not necessarily for others, but for myself.  I wanted to present myself as if I WAS a loan officer and as if I WAS a lady boss.  If I wanted to go bold, or just make a statement, I knew Femme Luxe Finery had me covered.  

I believe this first outfit says it all.  The shirt is bold, fashionable and makes a statement, especially when I pair it up with my black leggings and black ankle shoes.  The shirt is a Gold Scarf Printed Shirt Dress and can be worn with leggings, dress pants or even as a shirt dress.  It has rich colors and bold print, perfect for that summer dress attire and even has adjustable sleeves.  The belt is an added feature that helps accentuate the waist area.  Wear the shirt dress with, or without, the belt.  I can see myself wearing this shirt with not only black leggings, but with a caramel or rust colored leggings as well. And...just like the bold shirt mentioned above, the Black Satin Belted Shirt Dress is perfect paired with ANY colored pants...or just to wear alone as a dress.  Instead of that "little black dress", well...I have that "little black dress" in a shirt style...and is definitely becoming one of my favorite go-to pieces.  There is endless possibilities with this shirt...black satin shorts, leggings and more!  It's a solid color that will go far!  Available in sizes: S/M (8/10) and M/L (12-14).

Now, I know you hear me talk about leggings all the time and may be saying...Ok, Ok...we get it, you LOVE your leggings!  Well, guess what...here are those leggings and they're not in black!  These leggings are your basic red leggings; no ribbing, no animal print texture...just your basic red leggings, which are also available in black...but we're not gonna go there!  I saw these red leggings topped with a white t-shirt that read, "This is my day off shirt"  and paired with white tennis shoes....SO CUTE!  I think I'm going to have to invest in a white t-shirt and try my hand at a DIY printed version of the above! Sexy Finds at Femme Luxe Finery - Affordable Fashion

You guys already know I'm a huge fan of Femme Luxe Finery's clothes.  They are affordable, cute, sexy and somewhat casual at the same time.  You can find clothes for any special occasion or event (or even just lounging around) at Femme Luxe Finery.

I am going to have to confess one thing though...this last batch of cute clothes I was not able to wear, as much, as I have gained quite a bit of weight, so some of the pictures will feature the model, instead.  I am short; 5'2" and I now weigh around 167lbs.  That's a lot of weight for a short person and I can't just stretch it out from being tall.

With all that being said, I still love Femme Luxe Finery's clothes; I still want to try other sexy clothes they have, but I'm going to have to lose some of this weight!  Femme Luxe Finery's clothes are always comfortable.  The quality of the material is very well high quality and a lot of the clothes just seems to give more when I'm trying them on.

Grey High Neck Cropped Loungewear Set - Ella

I am in love with this two piece loungewear set...but it's not in love with my body!  This is a super comfy casual (or dressy) outfit that stretches so very comfortably.  The set is a knit fabric and although I CAN wear it, I'm no model and I have a stomach, hips, etc.  I can see myself wearing the knit leggings with a long dressy shirt, but the crop top...I'll leave that to the model!  The leggings are a high waist legging and the top has a high neck as well.  The top is actually a mid rif type turtle neck and would look so cute on someone smaller than me.

Black Belted One Shoulder Jumpsuit - Evelyn

Ok...I was a little worried about this one, mainly because I don't look right in ANY KIND of jumpsuit, but I thought, "Hey...why not give it a try!"  I actually like this jumpsuit.  Yes, I do have a protruding stomach and no, it doesn't look like it does on the model, but all-in-all, it was very comfy as well, I love the whole, one shoulder thing and I can see myself wearing this when I lose that extra weight.  

The only thing about this jumpsuit...it doesn't have a zipper to where you can just unzip and slide into the jumpsuit (if it does...I didn't see it.)  I had to step inside the jumpsuit from the top and pull it up over me.  I was actually shocked to see the jumpsuit stretch to fit me....a big plus in my books!  The jumpsuit does have a matching tie belt, which you will not see in my photo, as I didn't want to appear any choppier and wanted to elongate my body as much as possible.

This jumpsuit is both body hugging and loose fitting at the same time. The top part down to the hip area is body hugging while the legs are on the more loose side.

Grey Crop Jumper Loungewear Set - Deanna

Cute, cute, cute...but I cannot wear it.  Well...Okay, I can, but with a little bulge hanging out everywhere.  I have not worn a crop top since I was in my 20's, but this two piece lounge set is really my style.  It's sad, though, that I may only be wearing the pants of this set.  The lounge set features a cropped top that is long sleeve and a pant set that has slim fitting cuffed legs.  The drawstring that you see serves no purpose, as it does not tighten or loosen...it's just for looks.  I will have to say, the outfit, once again, is really soft and comfortable and would look great on someone similar to the looks of the model.

You can pair this set up with some sneakers and you are set to go!

Khaki Stripe Hooded Crop Sweater Jumper - Gia

As you can see, the first photo of this khaki green hooded crop sweater is me and the second photo is the model.  I've said it plenty of times, but although this cute hooded crop sweater fit me with no problems, I was not going to show my fat rolls.  I wanted you to give you the whole picture of this cute top, by showing it on the model.  This crop top is very warm, very soft and somewhat thick.  You have the option of wearing it with leggings, jeans or even cropped biker shorts.  I love this crop hoodie...but not on me.

I want to get one thing straight.  When I say I don't like something on me or don't like how it looks on me, it's not because of Femme Luxe Finery.  It's because my body has extra weight, to me and in my opinion, I do not feel comfortable showing my body in it.  There are many plus size girls who have come to terms with their body; who loves their body and will show it off in all the hot, stylish clothes; but I, myself, have not gotten there yet.

I'm Not Quite Ready To Give Up My Winter Clothes...Just Yet - #FemmeLuxeFinery

As the title states...I'm not quite ready to give up my winter clothes...just yet!  Femme Luxe Finery has some pretty neat winter clothes, not to mention, a lot of hot items for the Spring, Summer and even nights on the town (or club!)  I always wished I was as small as the model posing in these fashionable hot numbers, but right now, I will have to settle for just me!

I've been collaborating with Femme Luxe Finery for quite some time and their clothes are probably the most fun, affordable and fashionable pieces I've owned.  Femme Luxe Finery has anything from dressy jumpsuits to your more casual lounge wear and everything in between.  I still can't get over how reasonably priced they are, especially the pieces shown below!

Some of my FAVORITES that I have seen on their site, are ones that I have yet to try...but some of my favorites, that I DO OWN, are listed below.  The first item shown is the "Give In To Me" over-sized black shirt dress.  It's listed as a dress on their site, but...I have paired this up with some black leggings and black sandals for a somewhat casual-dressy look.  Paired with some little black booties and worn as a dress, this "Give In To Me" number would look adorable-y cute!  I love how comfy and roomy this black shirt/dress is and I never can pass up a statement piece! It's become one of my favs, so far!

Next, are these Black Cropped Legging Shorts.  These shorts has my name written all over them!  They are some of the most comfortable shorts I have. They are stretchy, soft and come in a wide range of colors.  Pair these shorts with a cropped cami, cropped twist shirt or go all casual and pair it with your favorite t-shirt or workout top.  I chose the black because...well, let's face it; black is more slimming and goes with everything!

The third item is another favorite of mine and they are these Black Animal Crocodile Print Leggings.  These leggings are high waisted, but not too high waisted and are a must in every gal's wardrobe!  These, to me, are more of a dark grey/black legging and as with anything in this color, goes well with any colored top.  When it comes to leggings, I like to pair it with a long, loose top...to give me more of a slimming look (snug fit bottom with a loose upper top.)  You can dress these leggings up even more by adding a pair of some strappy heels and an off the shoulder/cold shoulder blouse.  I wasn't for sure if these would fit very comfortable, but once on, they didn't disappoint me!  I'm wearing a size 12.

Last, but certainly not least, is these Khaki Green colored, Faux Leather Look Leggings.  I ordered a size 12 in these and I'm going to quite honest (and I always am); once I pulled these from the package, I was instantly disappointed and sad.  These size 12 looked more like a kid size, or more less, someone who was extra small!  When I held these up, I said, "no way...these are NOT going to fit!"  Giving the benefit of the doubt, I went ahead and tried them on, at the same time, holding my breath hoping they would at least fit, somewhat.  BY GOLLY....THEY FIT!  How in the world, something that looked so small, actually fit?!  Well, these faux leather leggings are meant to look and fit snug, but at the same time, they actually stretched to fit the body.  Now, I will admit, they weren't the most comfortable fitting leggings I've tried and owned, but they came pretty darn close and they did fit.  Being that I'm somewhat doing a low carb/Keto diet, I expect these to fit perfectly by the end of summer.

Femme Luxe Finery...Again! Trendy Clothes At Affordable Prices!

I almost hate to say it, but I am a tad bit sad that Winter is soon behind us...only because I won't be able to enjoy these awesome Winter clothes by Femme Luxe Finery  I'm not much of a Winter person, but when it comes to fashionable and comfortable Winter clothes, I love to wear them as much as possible!

With that being said, Femme Luxe Finery never disappoints.  The clothes that I've been enjoying lately are just a few of what Femme Luxe Finery has to offer.  Sure, there are some sexy little numbers that I would LOVE to try, but with me being a little on the heavy side, I just can't try them right now (Oh, GAWD, how I would love too!)  I'm currently on the Keto diet, so maybe...just maybe...I'll be able to check out their nightlife wear.

The first piece, shown above, is the Khaki Green Extreme Polo Neck Oversized Sweater.  This sweater is so comfy, soft and look at those sleeves!  I am in love with the sleeves of this sweater!  This is so much of a winter sweater, but if you are hot natured, like myself, the sleeves have plenty enough opening to cool you off.  This is a perfect top for those leggings, jeans and even dress pants!  The sweater has plenty of stretch to it and does not feel binding at all.

The next outfit is more of a lounge outfit.  Whether it's at home or just running errands at the mall, this wine colored lounge wear set is available in five different colors.  It ranges from S/M (8-10) and M/L (12-14).  Apparently, I need a size larger than the 12-14 for it to fit more as lounge wear, but either way, the material of the set is very stretchy and very very comfy...believe it or not!  I love the color as it is perfect for Winter and Fall.  I can see myself wearing the lounge pants with an oversized shirt on a weekend trip!

Next up is probably one of my favorites...It's the Fuchsia Knitted Oversized Polo Neck Sweater.  If you've seen my previous posts on Femme Luxe Finery, you know that I NOW have every color is this sweater!  Why?  Because it's so big, comfy, warm and fits me to a T!  I love how thick and warm it is and how I can pair it with some nice fitting leggings.  I never tire of this sweater as it is ALWAYS going to be a very popular top and it will ALWAYS be one of my favorites!  It's available in sizes S/M (8-10) and M/L (12-14) with colors of Cream, Grey, Neon Lime and Fuchsia!

Last, but certainly not least, is something a little different than what I've been normally wearing by Femme Luxe Finery.  This little number is the Animal Snake Print Biker Jacket.  OMG!!!  Look how cute this is!  I love it!  I am all about the animal print and with the colors being gray/black and white...it goes perfect with just about any color!  I paired this hot little number up with a black shirt underneath and black leggings!  Although the temps were around 50ish this day, this jacket kept me plenty warm, but was not heavy at all.  With the belt buckle and toggle zipper, this jacket won me over.  Sizes available are: S-M-L and comes in just the pearl white color.  This is a totally different take on your traditional biker jacket!
