Gold Glitter Party Cups by BBA Homemade on Etsy

I'm a big fan of going all out on a party.  Whether it's a birthday party, baby shower or just a party at home with a few friends, I love to decorate for the occasion.  

AND....I love anything that is glittery, blinged out and poppin'!  That is why I love these plastic cups by BBAHomemade.  BBAHomemade is a store on Etsy. They have these cups in 20 count for only $10!  The cups are clear plastic with the bottoms done in gold glitter.  Not a fan of gold glitter?  Why not have them customized to the color of your choice?  

These glitter cups were used at a baby shower I hosted, recently.  They were a great hit and looked awesome against the pink tablecloth for the drink table. These are more for decoration purposes than drinking, as I found, that if not careful, some of the glitter can end up inside your drink.  I have a bad habit of reaching for my cup without looking and I normally pick my cup up near the bottom.  If using these for beverages, I would try to pick these up near the top, where there is no glitter.

You can also use these cups for table centerpieces.  Add some matching striped or chevron drinking straws (you may have to cut your straws down some) inside the cup, add a few more decorative pieces and you have yourself a nice little centerpiece.  Check out what BBAHomemade done with theirs, below!

These gold glitter cups are so pretty and so festive looking!  They come carefully packaged with wax paper in between each cup, to prevent the glitter from rubbing off inside the other cups, when stacked inside each other.  And don't worry, you won't have to worry about there not being enough glitter on these cups.  When I received mine, there was a generous amount of glitter added to the bottom of these cups and I loved them!

Create Your Own Personalized Special Occasion Plates with Createurplate

Vintage Pink and Gold Paper Straws for Baby Shower and Weddings-Set of 25

Every one knows, when you are planning for a wedding or baby shower, you must have everything order.  From the flowers, decorations, cake...even right down to the smallest details such as cups and straws!

These unique and shiny straws are by Glitter Saturday on Etsy.  Glitter Saturday was generous enough to send me these straws for my review, and I must admit, these straws are actually prettier in person!  You get a set of 25, ranging from shiny gold chevron, gold polka dots, pink with polka dots and stripes.  

The straws are very sturdy, probably more sturdier than your actual plastic straws.  I didn't want to damage any of them, but I did try to squeeze one, just to see if they would give or smash...you know...being made of paper and all! Well, to my surprise, they did not give, crush or bend at all!  Now, I didn't go out to try to destroy the straws, but it would take some effort to crush them.

These straws are perfect for decorating slim vases at a baby shower or wedding, party or any special occasion...great for the pink and gold princess themed party.  You can even distribute them out into individual cups, making your guests feel extra special with their own decorated straw!

These are fun little straws that will add flair to any party, but not only can they be used as drinking or decorating straws, but can also be used to make creative cake pops and crafts!  The straws are 7 3/4" long, food safe, eco friendly and sturdy and they come packaged in a cellophane bag.

I don't know what it is, but I love lights!  What I mean by lights, is, lights during the holidays, for weddings and even at parties.  They can lights of many colors or lights with a soft glow of one single color.  The lights shown below, are the TEQUIN 10 LED Moroccan Metal Solar String Lights - Silver.  The Moroccan outer bulbs are silver in color and when the lights are turned on, they give off a warm white light.

The string has a plug that you can plug up to give off the light but they string of lights also has a solar panel connected to it.  This is perfect for allowing the solar panel to absorb the sun during the day, to produce the light at night.  You get over 10 hours of light when these lights are solar powered.
