Gold Glitter Party Cups by BBA Homemade on Etsy

I'm a big fan of going all out on a party.  Whether it's a birthday party, baby shower or just a party at home with a few friends, I love to decorate for the occasion.  

AND....I love anything that is glittery, blinged out and poppin'!  That is why I love these plastic cups by BBAHomemade.  BBAHomemade is a store on Etsy. They have these cups in 20 count for only $10!  The cups are clear plastic with the bottoms done in gold glitter.  Not a fan of gold glitter?  Why not have them customized to the color of your choice?  

These glitter cups were used at a baby shower I hosted, recently.  They were a great hit and looked awesome against the pink tablecloth for the drink table. These are more for decoration purposes than drinking, as I found, that if not careful, some of the glitter can end up inside your drink.  I have a bad habit of reaching for my cup without looking and I normally pick my cup up near the bottom.  If using these for beverages, I would try to pick these up near the top, where there is no glitter.

You can also use these cups for table centerpieces.  Add some matching striped or chevron drinking straws (you may have to cut your straws down some) inside the cup, add a few more decorative pieces and you have yourself a nice little centerpiece.  Check out what BBAHomemade done with theirs, below!

These gold glitter cups are so pretty and so festive looking!  They come carefully packaged with wax paper in between each cup, to prevent the glitter from rubbing off inside the other cups, when stacked inside each other.  And don't worry, you won't have to worry about there not being enough glitter on these cups.  When I received mine, there was a generous amount of glitter added to the bottom of these cups and I loved them!

Sixlets - A Baby Shower Candy Decor

If you've ever been to a baby shower, birthday party or wedding, you may have seen a table, such as a dessert table or front door table, with short or tall vases, filled with candy.  The color of the candy is usually the same color and theme of the special occasion. 

Most likely, the candy you see in these vases, are for guests to help themselves, but also serves as a table decor.  The candy can be anything you choose, but for this specific occasion, a baby shower that I am hosting, we are using pink sixlets.

Ok, we all know what sixlets are, don't we?  I mean, for those who grew up in the 80's (such as myself), I remember going to our local convenient store and picking up a small package of these sweets!

The sixlets shown here, are by Celebrations by SweetWorks, sold by Bayside Candy on Amazon.  This is a 2lb bag of sixlets that arrive at your house, well packaged and with a cooling pouch inside, to prevent the candy from melting while being shipped.  

I am using these pink sixlets at an upcoming baby shower, but I am still unsure how I'm going to use them.  One option, is to fill one or two semi tall vases and place them on the dessert table.  Another option, is to fill the mini pink plastic baby bottle favors to give to guests.  I'm leaning more to option one, but maybe instead of dividing them out into two vases, putting them into a glass bowl. These sixlets, Celebrations by SweetWorks, are a shimmering Bright Pink, chocolate candy.  You can purchase these by 1lb or 2lb bag, depending on your needs.  For those with allergies, you will be glad to know that these are not only gluten free, but were made in a nut-free factory.

There are approximately 540 pieces per pound, so with 2lbs, you are getting approximately 1080 pieces of chocolate candy!  That's a whole lotta candy!  I am thankful for Bayside Candy for giving me the opportunity to review their Bright Shimmer Pink Sixlets.  Oh, and by the way...THEY TASTE JUST AS I REMEMBERED!

Fancyinn Women's Sexy Cute Lace Cocktail Party Dress - #Fancyinn #partydress

You guys may know, that in October, I will be going on my first ever cruise!  Yah!!  I'm so excited and I can't wait.  I'm sure I will be planning on what to take with me for months in advance and I'm sure you guys will probably be saying..."Enough, already!"  I've been told, that during some nights, a lot of the restaurants will have a 'dress up' night, in order for you to eat in their restaurants.  A night, where men will have to wear either a tie or jacket and women in a dress or dressy outfit. Fancyinn Women's Sleeveless White Party Cocktail Dress

If you've been following my reviews and some of the awesome dresses that I've been posting, then you may recognize the style of this dress.  This dress is similar to others I've posted and it comes from Fancyinn on Amazon.  Fancyinn has numerous sexy and cute dresses for women, in sizes Small to XLarge...and some in XXL.  

This dress, shown here, is a sleeveless white cocktail dress, also known as a skater dress or mini dress (of course it's not mini on me...I'm only 5'1"!)  This dress is so comfortable and one of the dresses that fits really well on me.  I love that it has a zipper in the back and that the whole back area is covered.  It has pleats, all around the dress, which helps hide and camouflage any problem areas.  This white cocktail dress, by Fancyinn, has a cute black lace trim around the bottom of the dress, giving this dress a nice finish and that extra detail.

The bottom part of the dress seems loose, comfy and flowing.  The dress itself, has an almost thicker feel to it, but very well made and feels very durable and of high quality.  It has a generous amount of stretch to it, which I'm proud of, and is probably one of the reason this dress feels so comfy.  The Fancyinn Women's Sleeveless Party Cocktail dress comes in four available colors: White, Red, Burgundy and Black.  Normally, I would have went with the black...but I have so many black dresses, that I wanted to try something different.  I'm so glad I did, because the little black lace trim, near the bottom, just sets this dress off!

The dress is made of a woven fabric that consists of 97% polyester and 3% spandex.  It is machine washable, but I would tumble dry this dress on low.  Very cute, very fashionable and great for those trips where you will need a cocktail dress!  Don't forget to check out Fancyinn on Amazon, and while you're there, check out the other cute things they have!

These Moroccan Globe lights consist of 12 LED lights that are solar powered.  They automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn when in the "ON" mode.  There is a switch you can turn them on.  During the day, the lights will remain off, but once it starts getting dark, thanks to the sun, these lights will automatically turn themselves on.  With 6 hours of charge, these lights will work for 10-14 hours...not bad for solar powered lights.

If there are days where there is no sunshine, just use the battery and you still have working Moroccan lights.  The lights take AA battery and it's best if it's rechargeable so you can get many many uses by recharging the battery, if needed.  There are two modes on these lights...steady lights and flashing.  The button is located on the bottom of the solar panel, along with the ON/OFF button.  Push the mode button once or twice to set your preference.

What I also like about these lights, is that they are on a green wire string, making it ideal for hanging in shrubbery, garland and bushes.  These Solar Light Moroccan Globe Lights come in both Amber or Warm White light.  Total length of these lights is 12 foot with 5.9 inches distance between each light and the power cord length is 6.6 inches.

Celebrity Style Bandage Dress by Holly O Boutique Review

You've seen them before...the bandage dresses.  You may not have known what the dress was called, but many celebrities have been seen wearing some sort or form of the bandage dress.  The bandage dress has become such a hot and trendy fashion.  The bandage dress is perfect for a party, an evening out to dinner or a night out on the town.

The Bandage dress below, is by Holly O Boutique. The dress is made from excellent quality material, that is stretchy.  The material is thick, but not restricting and although the dress fits snug, it's actually pretty giving and comfortable.

This dress can be worn in several ways.  It can be worn alone, as or with a small crop jacket, which would be so cute!!  OR....pair the bandage dress off with a black leather jacket for a rocker look and don't forget those bling bling dress heels!  

I love that this dress will flatter all body types.  I, by no means, am thin or even close to model size. I am short, 5'2" and every bit of my weight, shows....but this dress compliments and accentuates your curves.  The dress will smooth you out in the right places and will hug your curves, like a fitted glove.  The back of the dress is open and backless, making it perfect to show off your toned body and back.  

This little black bandage dress is made up of 90% Rayon, 9% Nylon and 1% Spandex, which means...NO IRONING!  You can pack this dress in your suitcase and don't have to worry about wrinkles, as this dress is wrinkle free! 

I tried this dress on the day I received it...THANKS Holly O Boutique, and I had no problems at all getting it on.  From the front view, I loved it!  it hugged my body and showed off my curves.  From the side view, it did show my tummy, but that is not the dress's fault.  I have a stomach and I have a little back fat, which means, I need to work on that.  Overall, I love love love the dress and plan on getting in shape so I can wear this out.  

It's a beautiful dress.  It's made out of very high quality material and is not flimsy in no sort of way and I love the simpleness of the dress, yet it's still sexy!  I chose the Large, as this dress seems to run on the smaller size.

Popsicle Review

I just recently started seeing these cute little popsicle molds, and have thought about, vaguely, about getting some.  Well, thanks to Fliland and Tomoson.com, I was chosen to receive and review this awesome product.

The Popsicle molds come with 6 individual molds.  They have their own stand and popsicle sticks and are easy to use.  You just fill up your molds, approximately 3/4 way and insert the popsicle stick top.  It's that simple.  I just wish I had a recipe book to come with this set, but hey...I always have Pinterest to give me ideas...AND BOY!  Did I get many many ideas for different popsicle recipes!

I have already used these popsicle molds last night, and let me tell ya...I can't wait to make more popsicles!  I just wish I had an extra set of these!  All I want to do is experiment!!!  These are so easy to use and when you put them in the freezer, it takes about 4 to 5 hours for them to freeze, depending on what you've put in them.

What's cool about these popsicle molds is the drip-free handle.  When you are eating your popsicle, the handle will catch your treat, if melting.  The molds are BPA free plastic, Dishwasher safe and are a fun way to get your kiddos involved in making their own popsicles!  You may just have a little trouble getting your kids to stop making and eating their own popsicles!
