Another Great Tinsel Foil Fringe Curtain by Happy Time!

New Year's Eve...here I come! Everyone should have an awesome backdrop for holidays, parties or special occasions, especially when picture taking is involved. I love backdrops.  They just make any photo or video, pop, and can turn your ordinary photo into something special.

I've been doing YouTube videos for quite some time, but just only recently, been incorporating backdrops and backgrounds into my videos, trying to make them look more appealing and professional (I still have a long way to go!)  They are just so fun to work with, especially when you have a shiny, glitzy backdrop as this Happy Time Tinsel Foil Fringe Curtain, shown here.

I had a lot of fun, (probably my funnest) creating a video using this vibrant blue tinsel foil curtain.  This tinsel foil fringe curtain is perfect to hang in doorways, creating a fun entrance into the next room, to a party.  It's also perfect for New Year's Eve and for those baby showers and birthdays.  And...being that this tinsel foil curtain is 3.2 feet by 9.8 feet, it's plenty long enough for us tall adults.

If the tinsel foil is too long, you can always cut it at the bottom, saving the cut ends and using them to fill in any extra gaps in your curtain.  You can also cut the length you need, if using this tinsel foil curtain to decorate your tables.  There are just so many ways you can use this Happy Time Tinsel Foil Fringe Curtain and OH....did I mention this came as a 3 pack...with a package of 5 free balloons!  The balloons has this confetti inside, making them the perfect addition to your party!

I will mention, if you are using this for a doorway entrance, one curtain should be sufficient.  But, if you are wanting a fuller and thicker look, such as for videos and photos, it will definitely take all three packages.  I also added more bulk to my backdrop by taking the very bottom ends and folding them up towards the middle  and top, to give me that fullness I was looking for.  The curtains has a double sided tape, allowing you to attach to a smooth wall, but if your walls are not as perfect, skip using the self adhesive tape that is attached to these curtains and use thumbtacks to keep in place.

Gold Glitter Party Cups by BBA Homemade on Etsy

I'm a big fan of going all out on a party.  Whether it's a birthday party, baby shower or just a party at home with a few friends, I love to decorate for the occasion.  

AND....I love anything that is glittery, blinged out and poppin'!  That is why I love these plastic cups by BBAHomemade.  BBAHomemade is a store on Etsy. They have these cups in 20 count for only $10!  The cups are clear plastic with the bottoms done in gold glitter.  Not a fan of gold glitter?  Why not have them customized to the color of your choice?  

These glitter cups were used at a baby shower I hosted, recently.  They were a great hit and looked awesome against the pink tablecloth for the drink table. These are more for decoration purposes than drinking, as I found, that if not careful, some of the glitter can end up inside your drink.  I have a bad habit of reaching for my cup without looking and I normally pick my cup up near the bottom.  If using these for beverages, I would try to pick these up near the top, where there is no glitter.

You can also use these cups for table centerpieces.  Add some matching striped or chevron drinking straws (you may have to cut your straws down some) inside the cup, add a few more decorative pieces and you have yourself a nice little centerpiece.  Check out what BBAHomemade done with theirs, below!

These gold glitter cups are so pretty and so festive looking!  They come carefully packaged with wax paper in between each cup, to prevent the glitter from rubbing off inside the other cups, when stacked inside each other.  And don't worry, you won't have to worry about there not being enough glitter on these cups.  When I received mine, there was a generous amount of glitter added to the bottom of these cups and I loved them!

NuoReel Women's Lace Nude Illusion Skater Dress - #SKATERDRESS

Yesterday, I posted a long, elegant evening dress, perfect for special occasions or just an evening out on the town.  Today, I have another dress, less formal, but still elegant and classy looking for those date nights, parties and yes...special occasions.  NuoReel has hooked me up with two fabulous dresses that I love.  Just like the one yesterday, this one is black (every gal needs that little black dress) and very feminine.

The Women's Lace Nude Illusion Skater Dress is very girly.  It has that flared bottom skirt, a style that is popular with skater dresses and a very pretty black lace bodice, in which the back is open and the front gives an illusion of nude skin.  This is actually my kind of dress!  I love the girly, yet young look of this dress.  The skater dress has a low cut front.  The Skater Dress is made of 95% polyester and 5% spandex...gotta love the spandex!  It also has a zipper in the back, located right below the small of the back.  

I will admit, I was a little skeptical about this dress.  I thought it was going to show WAY too much bust area (not like I have much there, anyway), but it actually covered pretty well, without exposing too much, but still giving a little to the imagination.  The lace bodice of the dress is so detailed, delicate and very feminine.  I tried this dress on the first day I received it and was pleasantly pleased and surprised on how well it looked on me.  I am a bit on the hippy side, so I was afraid this dress would make them appear bigger.  That was not the case, as I believe that the skater dress may be perfect for most body types.

It's a cute and fun dress to have, especially when you have those "dress up" nights at the Christmas,  Valentines  or New Year's Eve parties, not to mention, those evening where you are dining out on a cruise (You know, those restaurants where you have one night that is black tie and dress-up.)
