Mineral Eyeshadows For That Overall Beauty Look

I  have become a big fan, and a believer, in mineral makeup.  I love how long the mineral makeup lasts, how very little you have to use to get your desired look and how awesome it looks when wearing it.  I don't know if I can ever go back to the pressed department store makeup after using mineral makeup. The older I get, the more I want to have a more natural (and sometimes dramatic) look without looking older.

When it comes to eyeshadow, I typically stick to the neutrals.  I have brown eyes and brown hair, therefore, I usually stick to the browns or even a deep wine color eyeshadow.  I haven't braved the other colors that are supposed to go well with brown eyes, but I sure am going to try at least an olive color one day!

Overall Beauty Minerals has these awesome eyeshadow sets that I recently tried.  There is this light brown set I tried, that covers every color that I am used to using every day.  Each color in this set compliments, not only every eyeshadow color in this set, but also goes well with brown eyes.  

I'm wearing Velvet, Champagne & Snow

I experimented with several of the colors and LOVED how they looked. In the set that I received were these colors:

The ones I've used the most were the Velvet (my favorite), Ivory Lace and Snow.  I used Velvet as my main color for my lids and the Ivory Lace and Snow as a brow highlighter, with the Snow as a highlighter for inside the corners of my eyes.

If you want a more subtle look, just sweep on the eyeshadow with a dry eyeshadow brush.  For a more dramatic, darker look, use a damp eyeshadow brush and experiment until you get your desired shade.  I also use the mineral eyeshadow as an eyeliner.  Just wet your eyeshadow liner brush and apply as an eyeliner!  I found that I could get two different looks, just by applying Overall Beauty Minerals eyeshadow wet and dry!

Extreme Glitter Lip Gloss - Shine On!

How many of you gals love lip gloss?  Do you prefer lip gloss over lipstick...if so, why?  Let me tell you...I LOVE lip gloss.  There's something about the feel of lip gloss vs. lipstick that I love.  I love the shine, shimmer and how light it can feel when wearing it.  What's even better, is I love when lip gloss has that added "KICK" to it...a little glitter power!

Facing Perfection Mineral Foundation - Smooth and Easy Application Without All the Weight

Good morning, guys!  Not too long ago, I brought to you a Spring eyeshadow set by Facing Perfection that I loved!  The colors were vibrant and so pretty and complimented my brown eyes!  Well...today, I'm here again bring another Facing Perfection beauty product.  It's the Facing Perfection Mineral Perfect Foundation.

I will be the first to admit, I've heard a lot about mineral makeup and mineral foundation, but was kind of skeptical about the coverage of a powdered foundation.  I've always used a liquid foundation and although I've thought about trying a mineral foundation, I just couldn't see how it would give me that smooth and full coverage look.

I used Facing Perfection, for the first time, this weekend.  I wasn't going anywhere special, but wanted a little makeup for the family's Easter egg hunt at my mother-in-laws.  I figured, if it didn't give me the coverage as my liquid foundation, it was no big deal, at least I would have some color.

As you can see in the photo, there was no doubt, that Facing Perfection Mineral Perfect Foundation did not let me down!  It completely covered and even exceeded my expectations!  It felt so much lighter than my normal liquid foundation and I found, that if I applied it after my face moisturizer, it went on smoothly and easily!  I really love the finish that it gave me!

I am gonna admit, I would love to look like one of the Kardashian girls!  You know who I'm talking about...Kylie, Kim, Khloe...you get the picture!  They are so beautiful, but what I notice more, is their makeup.
