Feel The Softness Of These Luxury Spa Quality Bath Towels

Why does it seem that bath towels just doesn't last as long as they should (or as long as I like?)  I can purchase new bath towels and within 6-8 months, they are getting worn out, they lose their softness or they just don't last.  Some of these towels, are towels that I purchase from well known department stores and end up paying more, when I could get them somewhere else, for less.

All Turkish bath towels are VAT dyed, which means that dye is infused into the yarns under high pressure and high temps for 6-12 hours, depending on the color.  This limits the fading of even the brightest colors. To retain the softness and the durability of these towels, it is recommended to NOT use any bleach when washing these Turkish towels.  You will find, with each washing, that these towels will become even softer.

I've already washed one of these towels once, just to see how well it would hold up and I am happy to say...it held up (and still very soft) after one washing.  I can't tell you how much it means to have a towel that dries you off quicker, is ultra soft to the touch and has the thickness and quality feel of a luxury spa like towel.

Immerse Yourself In Your Own Spa Treatment

I will have to confess...I've never been to a spa, let alone, had a professional massage!  I know...I know, what's wrong with me?  It's not like I haven't WANTED one, it's just, well, I guess I thought going to a spa, getting the special treatment, was more than what I wanted to pay for when I can get close to the same benefits at home.

Let me be the first to tell you...I've never seen black soap up front, although I've heard a lot about it.  Zakia's Black Soap is this creamy smooth textured soap, that is a black/dark brown color, that will leave your skin feeling so soft (it too, contains Argan Oil.)  You will first take a pinch of this black soap and apply it to a loofah or sponge.  You will get more of a lather when using a bath sponge or loofah pouf. Lather your whole body with this, enjoying the nice scent it leaves.  Rinse well and follow up with the Kessa Exfoliating Glove and Argan Oil.

OMG!  I am in love with Zakia's Morocco Black Soap!  My skin feels so silky smooth and soft after using it!  I love the light scent of the Orange Blossom and love the feeling it leaves my skin afterwards!  I'm totally sold on this stuff!

The Kessa Exfoliating Glove is used on wet skin that has been totally hydrated and cleansed after your black soap.  You will place the glove on your hand, gently rubbing back and forth (NOT IN A CIRCULAR MOTION!)  You will begin to see your skin peeling.  THIS IS OKAY!  You do not want to vigorously rub your skin, but rubbing back and forth with a little pressure.  The peeling of the skin is your body's way of eliminating dead skin, removing toxins an impurities from your body.  Your skin will thank you, trust me!

After your exfoliating, rinse well and follow up with Zakia's Argan Oil.  If you've never used Argan Oil before, you don't know what you are missing!  I am a die hard fan of Argan Oil!  I use it on my face, my dry skin as well as my hair!  It has tremendous results when it comes to dry hair, as well as your skin.

Hotel Spa Experience - Hotel Spa's Hand Shower 7 Settings with an On/Off Pause Switch

Don't you just hate it when your shower head clogs up, doesn't have much power or worse yet, has only one setting?  Well, after experiencing the many settings on this HotelSpa Hand Shower, I was so excited! Who gets excited over a simple shower!!!  

This HotelSpa Hand Shower has 7 different settings, ranging from a firm spray to a rain forest experience.  The hand shower has an on/off pause switch, that allows you to turn the shower off by a simple click of a switch.  It has an extra long hose and for those who are short, like me, it also has a low reach bracket, giving you the added flexibility that you need.  

It can be easily removed, for those times when you giving your dogs a bath or if you just simply just want to wash your hair, without taking a shower.  The seven settings include:

Underwater LED Floating Disco Aqua Glow Light Show

We have had a hot tub for several years already, and have never even thought about purchasing some kind of light or hot tub colored lighted globe for it, until a year ago.  I love to relax in my hot tub, sometimes with music and sometimes without.  When it's raining outside, I love to relax in the hot tub, as I love to hear the rain hit the metal roof above it.

Our hot tub is inside a little Tiki like hut, that my husband built and comes in very handy during the winter months.  We've decorated our little hot tub room with metal and wooden signs, lights and even a lighted palm tree!  The only thing missing...a lighted water show!

Thanks to Lemonbest, on Amazon, I received a Underwater LED Floating Disco Aqua Glow Light Show, in exchange, for an honest review.  There are many good factors about this Disco Light Show.  One, it has a button, on top of the globe, that allows you to change the colors.  You can change it from flashing multi colors to a slow, changing of each color.  The colors range from red, blue, green and yellow.  It also has a small plastic gadget, that contains what looks like silver nuts, that screws on the bottom of the globe, to add as a weight, when floating in either the hot tub or bathtub.

The only downside of this globe, if you want to call it that, is that it requires 3 AAA batteries, that were not included.  You will also have to have a small Phillip's screwdriver, to remove the top casing, to insert the batteries.  

So far, I've used this Disco Aqua Glow Light Show in my hot tub once.  I've had no problems with it so far.  This is stated, that it's an Underwater Glow Light, but I do not recommend that you submerge it.  Although it has not happened to me, there have been some, who say, water leaks into the globe and quits working.

Spa Basket by Fire Flower Gift Shop on Etsy Review

If you're like me, you LOVE bath essentials.  After a long day, hard day at work, all you want to do, is come home and unwind.  I'm not a shower person, but more of a bath person.  I love my baths, especially when I have nice and unique bath essentials, to give you that spa like experience.

First off, I would like to thank Virginia Herrington, from Fire Flower Gift Shop for sending me the spa basket.  Virginia can be found on Etsy and has a shop called, "Fire Flower Gift Shop."  Fire Flower Gift Shop sent me a very nice looking spa basket that consisted of: 

• Cocoa Butter Lotion

• Lemon Lavender Sugar Scrub
• Citrus Soap
• Honey Almond Soap
• Lavender and Green Tea Soap
• Honey Almond Shower Sponge

All of the above are homemade and created by Virginia, over at Fire Flower Gift Shop via Etsy.  The basket is so cute!  It is a weaved woven basket, almost a light Lime Green in color and is packed with all the above goodies.  The Bath Salts, Scrub and Lotion comes in these cute little canning jars, with a decorative ribbon around each one.  The sponge and soaps are individually wrapped, to keep it's freshness as well as giving each one a decorative look, that compliments the basket

 

The first thing I've tried, was the Cocoa Butter Lotion.  It doesn't really have a scent, but I love the consistency of this lotion.  It's almost like a cream, instead of a lotion.  I love how this lotion feels.  It leaves my hands silky feeling and gives off a silky look.  

The baths salts in this basket are not your typical bath salts you would find at your local Walmart.  These salts are actually more processed and has a consistency of a powder.  I really love this, because I am not a fan of tiny rock like salts, that you can feel while in the bathtub.  These ground up salts are perfect for those who have a hot tub, to give your water a wonderful scent, as well as softening your skin.

The Citrus and the Honey Almond soap comes in a cute little thin bar.  These remind me of something you would find in a hotel.  Mine came packaged in this pink cellophane type paper and once unwrapped, are a silky white bar.  You can smell the soap as soon as you unwrap them!

The Lavender and Green Tea Soap is probably the most unique thing I noticed in this Spa Basket.  It looked almost like some sort of candy bar!  I love the feel and the texture of this soap!  So different, and although I have not used it yet, I can't wait to try it!

The Lemon and Lavender Sugar Scrub smells OHHHH SO NICE!  When I first opened the jar, I was instantly drawn in by the fragrance.  It smells just as the name...LEMON AND LAVENDER!  What a sweet combination.  This scrub is perfect for exfoliating your body, removing any unwanted dry skin.  You'll love this scrub!

Last, but certainly not least, is the Honey Almond Shower Sponge.  I will be the first to admit...I never heard of a sponge that was infused with a fragrance and gave off a silkiness, once wet!  This may look like your typical kitchen sponge, but it is so, much more than that.  This is a wonderful smelling sponge, infused with Honey Almond.
