Pretty Princess Thank You Cards by The Invite Lady

As some of you may know, I am hosting a baby girl's baby shower in September.  With that, may preparations have to be made; ordering decorations, cake, desserts, invitations and thank you cards...just to name a few.

These cards shown here, are created and sold by "The Invite Lady", on Amazon. They are the Pretty Princess Thank You Cards that are perfect for any princess tiara themed baby shower.  They come in two color options; pink and gold. Both are very pretty and so princess themed!

They also come with matching envelopes, pink and white (I received both colored envelopes) and feature a glittery tiara on the front of the card, with the word, Thank You.  You can't have a baby shower without thank you cards.  You want to thank your guests for bringing gifts and showing love at your shower and what better way than to send out these beautiful cards.

You get 50 folding thank you cards with matching envelopes.  They are 5" x 4" when folded and 5" x 8" when opened.  The inside is blank, giving you plenty of room to write your own personalized message.  I love these type of cards, as I tend to have a lot to say and want to make sure that each one is personalized to the specific person that brought a specific item.

The photo above is the pink version.  These are the ones that go very well with the baby shower theme that I am hosting...gold and pink.  The ones below are the white version.

It seems that there's nothing precious than a newborn baby.  The mother/father/baby bond is like nothing else and a little one seems to change everyone's lives.  They truly are one of God's little miracles! 

Spending time with your baby brings joy, peace and that special bonding between baby and parent.  Bath time is one of those times when you can bond with your baby, but you want your baby to have the most comfortable and relaxing bath he or she can get.

These bamboo washcloths are ultra soft and gently on your baby's skin, as well

Ready, Set, Push Maternity Socks by Not Just Another Name

Ok, you new moms out there, I know how scary it can be going into delivery with your first newborn...I've been there.  But hopefully, you get to have your baby natural and not by surgery, as I did.  Even while you are waiting to be either taken into the delivery room or having your little one in a private room, you got to make the most out of it, even if it's with a little humor!

These socks will have not only you smiling, but probably your doctor and nurses as well!  These socks are available at Not Just Another Name.Com.  They are also available on Etsy. They are adorable socks that are perfect for that moment when you are getting ready to have your baby.  They are very very soft, thick and I love how the words are shown, right on the bottom of the socks!

The socks are available in white, with various choices of vinyl.  The color choices for the vinyl lettering are Sky Blue and Bubble Gum Pink and Apple Green or a mix of 2 colors, with the words; Ready, Set, Push or One, Two, Push.  Although the wording is standard for these socks, Not Just Another Name welcomes customized wording.

Both color variations have tiny baby feet worked into the words and are so freaking cute!  This is definitely a must have for the expecting mom!  Don't forget to throw these into your overnight or hospital bag!  Know a mom who is expecting?  Why not grab a pair or two for them as a gift?  And...who says you can't wear these BEFORE you go into labor?

Chopper Motorcycle Burp Cloth by Toni Mateo For Kids

Burp cloths come in many shapes, forms and fashion.  They can be solid colored, printed and even customized for your new born baby.  Burp cloths are an excellent addition to any baby's nursery as well as everyday use.  Let me tell you, if you have a new baby or are expecting...you're going to need all the burp cloths you can get your hands on!

Babies will spit up, drool, etc and it's going to happen on your shoulder or chest if you are holding them.  What better way to protect your clothing, than to invest in several burp cloths.  

The burp cloth shown here, is an adorable and cute customized burp cloth, handmade by Toni Mateo For Kids.  Toni Mateo For Kids is an Etsy shop, that creates handmade items for kids.  Toni has many beautiful baby items that include: blankets, kids cardigans, kids pillow cases and burp cloths.  They are all unique and different!

This burp cloth consist of orange and black...perfect for the little baby boy.  The backing is black minky (a very popular item nowadays) and features the 'chopper' on the front, with flames all around.  The burp cloth is beautifully made and is made very well.  The stitching is awesome and the burp cloth feels so soft in the hands. It's a perfect rectangular shaped burp cloth, that is plenty long and wide to protect the clothing.  

This is probably one of the most uniquest burp cloths I've seen.  It's so different and customized for those who are motorcycle enthusiast (I assume the baby is not quite there yet!)  The chopper burp cloth colors are vibrant and bold...not faded and will be a great addition to a nursery, not to mention, a great baby shower gift!

Navy Quatrefoil Car Seat Canopy by Shine Sew Bright

If you have a newborn, or expecting a new baby, you know that there are tons of necessities you MUST have when it comes to your baby.  One of those must haves are car seat canopies.  Car seat canopies, or car seat covers, are those that go over the top and around your baby's car seat.  It protects your little one from the sun, dirt and dust.  

Car seat canopies come in a wide array of designs, fabrics and colors.  There are solid colored ones, printed ones as well as those with cute animal characters on them.  The car seat canopy shown here, is handmade by Heather, at Shine Sew Bright on Etsy. It is Navy colored with Quatrefoil design and has the two velcro fabric tabs at the top, to fasten around the handle of the car seat.  

The back, or inside, of the Navy Quatrefoil car seat canopy is made of minky fabric, a very very soft and silky feeling material, that is well known for the 'dots' on the fabric.  The car seat is approximately 29" x 40", plenty big enough to cover a standard car seat as well as act as a play mat for your little one.

I love how this car seat canopy is made.  It's very well made with tight and excellent stitching.  The material is sturdy and not thin and flimsy.  This particular car seat canopy is great for both little boys and girls.  Your baby (as well as you) will love the soft feel of the minky used in this car seat canopy!

I've been to many baby showers, but how many of you have a baby shower guestbook?  I can honestly say, I've been to only one, where a guestbook was provided.  I think this is such a neat idea and it's a great way to keep track of who all attended...not to mention, perfect when it's time to send out those thank you cards!

This adorable print is created by The Fingerprint Shop on Etsy.  This arrives at your home, personalized, with your baby's name and date of shower.  It's not your traditional guestbook, but a neat and cool alternative for your guestbook. Your guest can sign the print, front or back, and then you can frame it for a keepsake.  Great addition to a nursery!

You have the option of the green fingerprint balloons or no fingerprint balloons. As you can see in the photo, I chose no fingerprint balloons.  There are tons, and I mean tons, of colors to choose from. Metallic Gold 3ft x 8ft Gold Foil Fringe Curtains for Parties

I've always loved shiny and bright things ranging from jewelry to party decorations.  That is why, when it comes to one of the baby showers that I am hosting, this gold foil fringe curtain caught my eye.  With colors of the shower being a combo of pink and gold, a princess theme, this gold fringe curtain will make a great backdrop for shower.

This gold foil fringe curtain is 3ft x 8ft, plenty big enough to cover a generous amount of area, that will be displayed behind the dessert table for an upcoming baby shower.  Weaving in some pink streamers, the gold foil fringe curtain will look awesome, shining through the streamers.

The 3ft x 8ft gold foil fringe curtain is great for backgrounds and backdrops, as well as a doorway entrance (I've actually thought about this too!)  The gold curtain has a metallic gold shimmer that is sure to draw a lot of attention.  It is very lightweight and has a strip at the top, where you can peel and apply to any doorway or wall.  It comes folded around a cardboard piece, making it easy to just unwind.

The tinsel fringe curtain is made of individual strands of gold fringe, allowing you and guests to walk right through it.  It would be really nice to have this hanging from each doorway or entry point into the shower, but my plan is to use this as a backdrop, to cover and hide a chalkboard.

Vintage Pink and Gold Paper Straws for Baby Shower and Weddings-Set of 25

Every one knows, when you are planning for a wedding or baby shower, you must have everything order.  From the flowers, decorations, cake...even right down to the smallest details such as cups and straws!

These unique and shiny straws are by Glitter Saturday on Etsy.  Glitter Saturday was generous enough to send me these straws for my review, and I must admit, these straws are actually prettier in person!  You get a set of 25, ranging from shiny gold chevron, gold polka dots, pink with polka dots and stripes.  

The straws are very sturdy, probably more sturdier than your actual plastic straws.  I didn't want to damage any of them, but I did try to squeeze one, just to see if they would give or smash...you know...being made of paper and all! Well, to my surprise, they did not give, crush or bend at all!  Now, I didn't go out to try to destroy the straws, but it would take some effort to crush them.

These straws are perfect for decorating slim vases at a baby shower or wedding, party or any special occasion...great for the pink and gold princess themed party.  You can even distribute them out into individual cups, making your guests feel extra special with their own decorated straw!

These are fun little straws that will add flair to any party, but not only can they be used as drinking or decorating straws, but can also be used to make creative cake pops and crafts!  The straws are 7 3/4" long, food safe, eco friendly and sturdy and they come packaged in a cellophane bag.

Pink and Gold Mommy-To-Be Pin - Baby Girl Baby Shower

Baby showers are a fun way to get all your friends and family together to celebrate the upcoming arrival of a new baby.  It's a time to go all out on baby clothes, necessities and decorations.  But let's not forget about the mommy-to-be.  Mommy-to-be has to have something for herself, not just for the party. 

One of the things a new mommy HAS to have, is a Mommy-To-Be ribbon pin. This is pinned to the mommy's outfit, to let everyone know, who the mommy-to-be is (like it's not that obvious!)  This mommy-to-be pin is handmade by Debra, an Etsy seller who has ChicBabyCakes Etsy store.  Debra was kind enough to provide me this mommy-to-be pin, done in a range of pinks and gold...the color theme of my friend's baby shower. 

This pin not only has the colors of pink and gold, but also white with pink and Chevron.  The top part of the pin is done in a circular fashion, with the white, Chevron, pink and white polka dots.  Grosgrain ribbon hangs down from this pin, coordinating and matching all around.

I also discovered, that this mommy-to-be pin can also be used to decorate a baby diaper cake or act as a decoration for the main baby shower table.  I love how this pin will go perfectly with the pink and gold theme that we will have going on at the baby shower, in September.

It's A Girl Baby Shower Decorations

In as little as two more months, I will be hosting a baby shower.  Not only will I be hosting a baby shower in September, but I also will be co-hosting one next month.  The first baby shower, in August, is held by my step-daughter's mom, with me being a co-host.  She has done most of the planning for my step-daughter's shower, with decorations and all, but I get to put a lot of the crafts together as well as making the cup cakes.

The second baby shower....Well, I can say I'm just as thrilled, as the decorations, location and organizing the most part of it.  She had already decided on the theme...Pink & Gold Princess theme.  This was going to be fun, but also a little stressful getting everything together, making sure that I had everything I needed.
 

Thanks to some awesome people, the decorations are beginning to come around.  I'm very thankful that Konsait, a seller on Amazon, has sent me this cute 'It's A Girl' banner along with the pink and white tissue paper pom poms. For only $14.99, you get a set that includes an 'It's A Girl' banner, 6 white and 6 pink tissue paper pom poms.

The banner is made of a sturdy card stock like material, that has black lettering, spelling out, 'It's A Girl.'  In between the words, there is a heart card.  The banner is made out to look like a baby onesie...so adorable!  The cards come pre-punched, so you don't have to worry about punching any holes, yourself.  It also comes with a pretty pink ribbon (not the curling kind), that you can thread through the cards.

The pom poms comes in three different sizes...2x8, 2x10 & 2x14.  And remember, you get these three sizes in pink and white!  The pom poms are made of tissue paper with a gold ribbon wrapped around the middle.  All you have to do is unfold the tissue toward another, separate each tissue and form into a pom pom.  There is already a white string attached, to hang it from the ceiling.

Not only are these decorations great for baby showers, but can also be used for a nursery.  If you didn't want to use the banner, you can use the pink and white pom poms for birthdays, weddings and parties.

The Twisted K Fall Thanksgiving Argyle Necktie Onesie for Baby Boys

Onesies seems to be the must have when you have your beloved baby.  It's the one thing that they can't seem to have enough of and the one thing that every parent has in their newborn's closet or nursery drawers.  Onesies are the 'to-go' item for dressing up a little one, pairing them with jeans, shorts, overalls and more.
