Educational Puzzles For Toddlers

You've probably seen me post about these type of puzzles before.  This puzzle is by the same brand/company, Petit Toys.  Petit Toys is a company that specializes in bringing fun and educational puzzles to kids, which will have them playing with these for hours.

My 3 year old grand son, Brody, absolutely loves these puzzles.  They are somewhat easy for him, with the snail puzzle (shown below) a little more challenging.  They help your child learn their alphabet, as well as develop eye-hand coordination, motor skills and recognition of shapes, letters and colors.

Every time I receive one of these puzzles, he instantly wants to unbox it, unwrap it and begin playing with them immediately.  When it's time to go home, he wants to take these puzzles with him...can you blame him?  He is the type that loves to try and figure things out and these puzzles are perfect for that.

These puzzles come with a yellow storage bag to keep all your pieces together.  The alphabet puzzle contains key words on the wooden board.  Each alphabet piece has a corresponding animal on the puzzle board, to help your child not only learn what the letter is, but the animal that begins with that letter.

The alphabet pieces are wooden and are perfect size for small hands, but large enough to prevent your child from choking on them.  This puzzle is great for home, school or even for birthdays and children parties.

The snail puzzle has softer puzzle pieces.  They are smaller, so parent supervision is required.  The snail pieces are also alphabet related, but a little more challenging.  Your child has to fit the pieces of the puzzle together, going with the order of the alphabet.  Once completed, your child has a vibrant
colored snail!

Both these puzzles comes as a set and can be found at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TM467TD?ref=myi_title_dp

Fun Activities For Your Toddler - Wooden Animal Jigsaw Mini Puzzles

Sometimes toys just doesn't cut it for your toddler.  Kids, after a while of playing with the same toys, start to get bored and look toward something more challenging...something that gets their little minds to thinking.

I have a three year old grandson who has a very active imagination.  He will go through a whole conversation, actions and a very detailed play with his toys.  There are also those times where he loves to sit down and figure out how things work...and will do so, until he thinks he has it.

That is why these wooden animal jigsaw puzzles are perfect for him.  They keep his little mind busy by slightly challenging him on where each piece fits inside this mini puzzle frame.  Once he saw what this package was, when I received it in the mail, he couldn't wait for me to open it up and begin helping him.  Before he could even complete one puzzle, he was already grabbing another.

This set contains 12 different mini puzzles; cow, deer, snail, turtle, panda, rooster, zebra, boat, train, butterfly, giraffe and lady bug.  These puzzles can be used as an educational toy, helping them to develop hand-eye coordination, motor skills, color and shape recognition.  Each puzzle contains 9 pieces and comes with a brightly colored storage bag.

The puzzles are non-toxic and safe for little ones.  Each puzzle has smooth edges and the puzzle pieces themselves are coated with environmentally safe water based paint.  These puzzles are perfect for toddler and kids of all ages (even us grown-ups) and help develop problem solving skills.

These puzzles can be found at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TP9Q894?ref=myi_title_dp  sold by Petitoy.  Go check out this puzzle package, as well as others!

Educational Magnetic Building Block Set For Kids

Kids tend to grow out of certain toys, especially when the get older, but for my almost-three-year-old grandson, he still enjoys playing with these colorful and bright magnetic building blocks!  He loves watching each piece attach to each other, when put together and he ABSOLUTELY loves trying to build a house out of them.

These magnetic blocks easily attach to each other and can be built to just about anything you desire.  My grandson loved just matching all the shapes and colors together, while laying them on the floor.  Each piece is made of non-toxic ABS plastic that surrounds magnet with round edge design without any sharpness.  I can say, that I've inspected each piece and found each tile in perfect condition, smooth edges and contained no sharpness what so ever.  They are fun to play with and found myself spending hours, with my grandson, trying to create many masterpieces!

This set consists of 56 pieces, all which are squares and triangles.  This is what you get.

     *24 triangles
     *32 quadrangles (squares)
     *booklet
     *storage bag

The magnetic blocks has a different color on each side of each magnetic tile.  Other and similar magnetic tiles are compatible with this set, so you (and your child) can have endless pieces to create to your heart's desire.  Another great thing about these magnetic blocks...they can be used as an educational tool or toy, for your child.  They are great for developing your child's motor skills, learning colors and shapes and using their imagination to create things.

Flexo Ocean Life Turtle 3D Flexible Building Brick Toy

Christmas is just around the corner and I've just about finished my Christmas shopping.  I know, I know...most of you guys probably start your Christmas shopping like 3 months early; me, I usually wait until the last few weeks before Christmas.

Most of the time, I pretty well know what I am going to gift my family and friends, but you always have that one that seems difficult to find for, whether it's a child or an adult.  I found the idea gift for those who loves to work with their hands; those who love somewhat of a challenge and who loves creative projects.

This Flexo Ocean Life Turtle 3D Flexible Building Brick Toy is just that.  It contains 16 Flexo Circle Bricks, 64 Flexo Equilateral Triangle Bricks, 2 Eyes, 1 Black Tendon Sheet (112 Tendons), Template, Digital Instructions and Flexo Multi Tool.

The first thing I done when I received this flexible brick box was download the app - Flexo AR.  Once this app was downloaded, I waved it across the front of the box the Flexo Ocean Life Turtle came in and the picture on the box literally swam!  This turtle swam across my phone screen, begging me to get him out of the box so we could go ride the tide.  I must admit, it was kind of cool!

There is a YouTube video you can watch, that guides you into how to build your Flexo Ocean creature.  Oh, and let me just mention...these Flexo Ocean Life creatures are available in a crab, seahorse, turtle, stingray and fish and all are bendable, swimable and float, so they're perfect for bath time for kids.

The age requirement is 7 and up, mainly due to small parts, so it is highly recommended not to leave small children alone with this toy. The difficulty level of this toy is 1 out of 5...so not too bad.  I know the video is recommended in building your sea creature, but I wanted to just look at the picture on the box to see if I couldn't figure out. NOPE!  You HAVE to watch the video.  I realized, even though the first part of my turtle looked correct...it wasn't!  Watching the YouTube video made the assembly go so much smoother and faster and made so much sense.  Here is my finished project!

I won't lie...I had fun creating my sea turtle and the more it came together, the more excited I was. Although you may not can tell, this turtle does have dimensions to him - 3D to be exact and it not flat, like this photo, above, seems to portray him. The blocks resemble leggo blocks, but the rubber like tendons is what makes this sea creature come to life, bending and flexing.  I found it was easier to snap the tendons between the blocks, using the multi tool that came in this kit.  I also found out, that you will have extra rubber tendons after you complete your creature.  This may be due to some that may be lost or damaged as you are building your creature.

Bubbles of Fun For Parties, Birthdays and Everyday with iLearn iPlay Bubble Camera Bubble Shooter

Are you ready to have some fun? Spring and summer are just right around the corner and approaching fast and this is the time for kids (and adults) to get outside and start having some fun in the sunshine.

I don't know about you, but I'm NOT a winter person.  I hate the cold and I'm so ready to enjoy some days outside, just relaxing in the sun, watching my grandson play.  Our backyard looks like a playground, minus the climbing toys.  There are trucks, cars, balls and riding toys everywhere!  You would think we had a child that lives with us.

He's really going to love the outside when we bring in the bubbles; Yes...bubbles!  I recently got my hands on this cute and fun Bubble Camera and Bubble Shooter Machine by iLearn iPlay.  It's a cute blue elephant, that has multiple bubble wands in its mouth, that shoots out tons of bubbles when you fill him up.

When I first showed Brody this and how it worked, he laughed, danced and threw himself in front of the bubbles.  This, of course, was inside my house, where I only had about 10 minutes for him to enjoy it before his mommy came and picked him up.

He did not want to part with it.  He kept reaching for it as he was leaving and was not happy until he left with it.  The iLearn iPlay Bubble Camera Gun Developmental Bubble Shooter Machine is awesome for those birthday parties, kids activities and even for those professional looking pictures when you want to include bubbles in your photos.

The iLearn iPlay Bubble Camera Shooter comes with a bottle of bubble solution.  The bubble machine is easy to operate; just pour in some bubbles, hold down the button and watch your child enjoy hours of fun, romping through bubble galore!  The iLearn iPlay Bubble Camera Shooter Machine is great for developing social interaction, cognitive process, color identification as well as play and life skills.

The iLearn iPlay Bubble Camera Shooter Machine is safe and durable.  It is made of non-toxic ABS plastic.  You can place this bubble machine up on a table, inside or outside, so kids can run through the bubbles.  The Bubble machine requires 2 AA batteries (not included).  The only batteries I had were old and not new, so imagine the tons of bubble fun when new batteries are used!

Bright Colorful Non-Toxic 100 Plastic Balls for Play Pit

I don't know what it is, but every time I see something from PowerTRC, it has the brightest and vibrant colors, colors that would attract any baby or toddler's attention.

That is the case with these non-toxic, Phthalate-free plastic balls.  These balls are so brightly colored and come in a net that holds 100 crush proof balls in colors of red, blue, orange, yellow, green, purple and blue.  These are the perfect addition to any play pen, play pit and even those kids play tents!

Get this...each ball can withstand up to 150 lbs of weight or pressure...150 lbs!!
This is very important to me, for as when babies grow up, become toddlers and even have friends that are older, these balls will hold up!  They measure approximately 2.5" in size and will fit a child's hand.  They are not too small, nor too large and can easily be carried around, thrown around or just plain fun for bath time.

Can you imagine having a bath tub filled with colorful playful balls?  What child would not enjoy this?  You will not find any chemical smell with these and you can rest assured, that these non-toxic balls were tested - not only for chemicals, but for crush resistance as well.

This 100 plastic balls will give you plenty of balls for a play pen or play pit.  I love how these even fit my hands, without being too large and I can fill the sturdiness in these balls.  Don't have a play pen or play pit to add these balls to?  Fill up a large box and make your own play pit!  Toddlers LOVE boxes and adding these colorful balls will make it even better!

PowerTRC Hook and Reel Fishing Toy Play Set

How many of my readers are fishing people?  Or...better yet, how many of you are fishing people with little ones who are just a little too young to know how to use a fishing pole?  One day, your little fishing buddy will become old enough to enjoy the fishing trips and the excitement of catching his first fish.

In the meantime, when you are out fishing, how about taking this cute Hook and Reel Fishing Toy Play Set with you so your child can be 'just like daddy' or just like 'mommy!'

This Hook and Reel Fishing Toy Play Set is by PowerTRC and sold by Genius Buy on Amazon.  It consists of 3 very colorful hard plastic fish and 1 hard plastic duck, as well as a reel.  The fishing reel has a plastic hook on the end of the line and allows your child to hook his first fish!  The reel can rotate, to reel up the fish and is perfect for those who love playing in the water, such as bath time or out in the kiddie pool.

When your child is done playing with the Hook and Reel Fishing Toy, he still has the colorful yellow duck, that he can play with during bath time (or anytime!) If you are lucky enough to have a kiddie water and activity table, set the fish in the water and watch your little one have fun, trying to catch the fish.

The fish are very vibrant and colorful, with colors of purple and red, orange and purple, with the reel with colors of bright yellow and blue.  It will take a little practice (and patience) to hook the fish with the pole, but who said fishing was easy?  This is an adorable fishing toy play set that also comes packaged in a colorful box, showcasing the fish and the reel.  The box mimics the colors of the fish and is a great gift for Christmas, birthday and for those aspiring fishermen!

Depending on the age of your child, he, or she, may need a little comfort during those bedtime routines.  Your child may still be afraid of the dark, or may just be a little skittish of sleeping alone, without some sort of light.  A night light is fine, for some, to dimly light a room, but why not give them something that they can hold, cuddle up to and hug before they go to sleep?

This adorable cuddly lamb glows in the night, giving your little one a little piece of mind.  It is by Wewill  and sold by Step Biz, on  Amazon.  It has a 30 minute timer, that will allow the lamb to stay lit for that amount of time.  It is equipped with colorful LED lights and if you press the left hand (red press button), the lamb will automatically turn off in 30 minutes.

Let's Go Bowling! A Deluxe Super Set Bowling Game For Kids

Strike!  No, it doesn't mean you're out, but is something I always wanted when I used go bowling on the weekends, with friends.  I had so much fun, trying to get as many pins down, but this game seemed to always defeat me! Sometimes it was three pins, sometimes it was one and other times...GUTTER!

I don't bowl, anymore, but I still love the sport/game.  Now, little ones can join in on the action with their own bowling set.  This bowling set is the Deluxe Super Bowling Set for Kids by Powertrc.  Both pins and ball are very lightweight and can toted to any place you like.  The pins have a smaller ball, inside, that makes a rattle sound, making it more fun for kids to enjoy the bowling game.

The balls inside the pins jump and clatter when you knock them down.  The pins are 7" tall, while the ball is at 6" round.  Both pins and balls are made of sturdy plastic, making this perfect for kids who may seem a little competitive!  The balls and pins are bright colored, which is another reason kids are attracted to this.

Brody, my grand-son, loves to rattle the pins.  He loves to listen the the clatter they make and when it comes to any sort of ball...he has to pick it up and throw it!  I'm still trying to teach him how to actually 'roll' the ball to knock the pins down! And...why does it seem like, that every package I get, he thinks it's for him?  Very understandable.  Although he hasn't grasped what the term 'bowling' means, I still love watching him, carrying and shaking the pins.

This Deluxe Super Set Bowling Game is available at: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BUI267A.  It's a fun way to teach kids the basics of bowling, while still having fun and if you're looking for a great birthday or Christmas gift, go check out Genius Buy on Amazon.  They have tons of toys geared to any age kids.
