My Winter Haul From Femme Luxe Finery- AND I'M FINALLY BACK!

Good morning my friends!  I AM BACK!  Not only am I back with another Femme Luxe Finery Haul, but I'm back from being MIA!  With my surgery at the end of August and then coming back to a work load I was almost 2 months behind from my full time job, I can honestly say...I've missed sitting down and blogging!  

Today feels like the first normal day since I've been trying to catch up on my workload due to being off for surgery and it feels so good to get back to what I love doing! The past 4 weeks have been a true struggle for me, mainly with my normal job workload, but I think I'm finally seeing a little daylight through it all.

Today, my Femme Luxe Finery haul includes 2 pairs of joggers and a pantsuit.  I can't tell you how happy I am to finally grab some joggers from Femme Luxe Finery!  I used to have a pair of athletic pants, that I nearly worn every day until they were wore smooth out and never got around to buying another pair.

These two pair of Fleece Front Pocket Joggers, shown below, are SO warm, comfy and soft!  They are the softest pair of joggers I've ever owned and they even have side pocket!  Joggers with pockets?  Yes, Please!  These joggers not only have pockets, but they also have the traditional ankle cuffs, but are not really tight or snug, which I absolutely love.  They are very well insulated and remind me of my fleece leggings I wear during the winter.  I ended up getting the size 14, but probably could have gone with a size smaller.  It all depends on how you like your joggers to fit.  I really don't like the fitted joggers, so this size is perfect for me.  They are a little more roomy and the waist band is just right....not too tight.

Affordable and Fun Fashion - Femme Luxe Finery

Good morning guys and gals...or evening to those across the country!  These past two weeks have been kind of a roller coaster for me, from doctor visits, work, etc, but it's all getting better!  As usual, work has been kind of hectic, slowed down a bit, but still...hectic.  But you know what...I wouldn't change it a bit.

I've been attempting to lose some weight (noticed I said tempting).  It's not as easy to stay on a specific diet or eating plan, whether it be Keto, Low Carb, clean eating, etc, but I WILL DO IT!  I'm trying to stay positive, and for the most part, I am...I guess I'm just a little impatient and, at times, get discouraged, but by the Summer of 2021, my plans are to have lost at least 
50 lbs.

This is one of my favorite tees by Femme Luxe Finery.  It is the Black Leopard Print 'Femme La Mode' Slogan Print T-Shirt.  I already have this black shirt with the pink and black leopard print lips, but I really wanted one that was black with the gold/yellow lips.  These shirts are available in larger sizes (which I love) and let me tell you, they are so much more roomy-er than their original t-shirts. I didn't notice at the time I got this, but this shirt matches my leopard print pajama pants perfectly!  These t-shirts also seem to have a bit more stretch (big plus for me!).

The second item is also a tee.  Once again, I love slogan tees, and this one has "No Bad Vibes".  I love it!  I love when a tee has a slogan that is so appropriate and has positive messages written across them.  Not in black, but in pink, is the Pink 'No Bad Vibes' Oversized T-Shirt.  This shirt is considered over-sized but I do feel as if it fits a little more 'not over-sized' for me.  It's probably due to the fact I ordered a size smaller, being it was considered over-sized.  Either way, it fits perfectly and I love it!  This shirt is available in white, black and pink.

The third item is another set that I currently own, but in a different color.  I knew when I received my first one, I had to have another in a different color.  This is the Taupe & Black Oversized Hoodie Shorts Loungewear Set.  This short set is thicker than your average short set, but can be worn during the Spring, Summer and maybe Fall.  The hoodie jacket is sleeveless and has pockets on each side with a zip up front.  The shorts have a drawstring and let me mention, these shorts are super comfy!  Add a long sleeve shirt under the jacket and it can be worn during the warmer part of Fall.

Comfy Wear - All From Femme Luxe Finery

 I can definitely tell that Summer has finally made it!  80 degree weather, sunny (not to mention a lot of rain) and to the point where the air has to finally be turned on!  Being that I live in Southeast Missouri, the boothheel to be exact, you never know what kind of weather you are going to get.  It could be 80 degree one day and then, without warning, you wake up to 50 to 60 degree weather...it can be crazy sometimes!

The third item is the Black Crewneck Oversized T-Shirt.  This is your basic black tee that can be worn with ANYTHING!  I chose this black oversized t-shirt, for one, it goes perfect with my black leggings.  Second...I can wear this shirt with any colored bottoms I want.  Dress it up or dress it down, either way, it's what I call my little black dress...but in a shirt!  It's super comfy and when worn with silver jewelry, it really pumps up this basic t-shirt a notch!  This shirt would be super cute with some denim blue jeans, denim shorts paired with some leopard print platform sandals.

Perfect Work & Weekend Attire - Femme Luxe Finery

It seems like it's been a while since I've posted a new blog post, but today...It's a brand new day!  Lately, I've been reading up, watching and trying to grasp a new thing...but I will leave that for another post.

It's almost a new month and March will be here before you know it.  February's not been too bad (I know it's winter and we HAVE to have cold weather) but I'm ready for some steady warm weather!  Here, in Southeast Missouri, you never know what the temps will be.  One day it may be in the 30's and the next...you're looking at near 60!  I kid you not!

Whatever the weather, I'm pretty sure these four outfits are perfect for all season!  I'm super excited about this month's picks from Femme Luxe Finery, because as you know...I normally steer away from pants unless I can try them on. Not all pants fits the same and I've been so self conscious about the way pants fit in the waist.  BUT...I've decided to forgo all that and give these a try!  Oh...why am I super excited about this pick?  Because, it's the first time I've seen these pants (I've been eyeing these for quite some time) in a size I believe would fit!

So, enough rambling...Let's get to it!

These Baby Pink Cargo Pants have always been a favorite style of mine.  They just seem to look sporty, but feminine and can be worn in a way that makes them casual or dressed up.  They have the cargo style pockets on each leg as well as a cuffed ankle and elastic waist band.  These would look awesome paired up with a black or white tank top.  Dress them up with some heels or pair them down with some white sneakers.  I love the versatility of these pants...not to mention the color!  I am wearing a size 16 (UK size) which converts to a size 12 US. (psst...this black t-shirt is also from Femme Luxe Finery!)

The next pair of pants are the Black High Waisted Side Split Trousers.  These, I chose, well...because momma needs a new pair of pants for work...a pair that LOOKS like they were made for work...not a pair of leggings that I normally wear!  These high waisted side split trousers are available in sizes 6-16 UK sizes (2-12 US) and have a side split in each leg.  I can see myself pairing this up with a cami, layered with a cardigan.  These would look extra hot paired with a lace bodysuit, in the same color, for an evening out.  Throw on some heels and you have a date-night outfit!

The third pair of pants I chose were the Teal Belted Tapered Trousers.  These, again, were chosen because I need more work attire in my closet.  Eventually, I want to veer away from leggings as work attire.  I recently was promoted to loan officer and now, I want to look the part.  These pants will definitely have me looking the part.  These pants are not only super cute, but very stylish and I love the big belted look! (I may forgo the belt just a bit...still working on this tummy of mine!)  These pants have that elegant tapered look and would perfect with a bodysuit, layered with a work jacket.  If you're not too keen on bodysuits, you can wear a nice solid colored sleeveless top!  These WILL become a regular wear for me, once I get to where I can wear them, but in the meantime, I'm loving the look of these pants on the model!

And Last...not pants, but one of my favorite tops that I recently ordered in two different colors, is the Cold Shoulder Cut Out Jersey Dress in Khaki Green!  The two previous cold shoulder cut out jersey dresses (I wear this as a long top with leggings) fit so well, that I had to have this in the Khaki Green.  I love how the whole look comes together, from the neckline and shoulder cut out to the length.  You can wear this with the matching belt it comes with or, just let it hang with a pair of leggings.  This is a very cute dress/top to wear if you are on the smaller side and you want to cinch that waist line in to create a casual look.  This top is super soft and super comfy and I wish they had this available in other colors (I would definitely dig a pretty pink!) Worn as a dress and paired up with some booties would look so cute!

Express Yourself - Trendy and Hot Clothing by Femme Luxe Finery

Hey, hey gals!  So September is finally here and as it starts to progress, fall will be here before you know it!  Now, I am a huge fan of Spring and Summer, as a matter of fact, Summer used to be my FAVORITE season...but...times have changed and now, being that I'm not getting any younger and I can barely stand the humidity of the South, I've become to love the Fall the most.

Fall is the perfect season, in my opinion; no more mosquitoes, cooler weather (not too hot-not too cold), bonfires, fair time and s'mores and so much more to love when it comes to Fall.  Fall is also the season where I can wear those outfits that may be a little borderline too warm for the summer, but just the right outfit for the Fall weather.

BUT...I'm not entirely ready to forfeit my t-shirts, short sleeves and shorts...not quite just yet.  As always, Femme Luxe Finery has come through with some of the trendiest and cutest clothes.  Two of my favorite for this month...are the newest t-shirts.  I love t-shirts.  I live in t-shirts and it's the one thing I always throw on as soon as I get home from work. T-shirts can be plain, many colors, or can be a way to express yourself...through words - such as the ones below.

The two t-shirts you see me wearing are so so comfy!  They are lightweight, thin and stretchy!  They are not too thick, nor hot and I just love how they fit!  I'm still trying to decide which is my favorite...the black "I have nothing to wear" or the white "Life's A Peach".  I'm thinking the black will become my fav, since I tend to wear black a lot! This shirt would not only be the idea T for black leggings, but would also look awesome with blue jean shorts or any other colored shorts.  I'm thinking a pair of pink shorts would be the bomb!  Finish the ensemble off with a pair of black hoop earrings or little rhinestone studs.

The next item will always be popular.  It's the long blue denim button shirt.  We all know that the blue jean material or blue jeans, any way, is always a hit with many.  This trendy style is perfect worn as a long shirt with leggings or jeans, as well as worn as a long shirt dress.  Pair it up with some flat summer sandals or booties and you have yourself a comfy and fashionable outfit.  The shirt does come with a matching belt, allowing you to wear with the shirt, to add a little extra cinch to the waist.  The way I like wearing denim shirts, is unbuttoned with a cami or tank underneath.  Unfortunately, this shirt did not fit me, which I am so sad about!  I really love the look and style of this denim shirt!

And the last outfit of the day...this cute black print two piece loungewear set.  This loungewear set is similar to the others I've received, but has a multiple animal print design on the front, with tones of black, gold and white and long sleeves.  Feel like a zebra today?  How about a leopard?  With this loungewear set, you get all that combined, plus the pants have the matching animal print design down the side of the leg...perfect for those cooler Fall and Winter days.  The material, like the others, is very soft and has a little bit of stretch to it.  The neckline of the shirt is a little higher up on the neck than the boxy loungewear set you've seen me post. Although this is considered loungewear...this is definitely an outfit you can wear out on the weekend, whether you are shopping or just hanging out at a friend's house.

Femme Luxe Finery Haul - What Did I Score This Month?

Welcome back, gang!  Today I have another fabulous haul from Femme Luxe Finery.  If you've been keeping up with my previous posts about Femme Luxe Finery, you know that this brand has some awesome and affordable clothes - for casual, work and night time wear.

It seems like every time I receive a package from Femme Luxe Finery, they always end up bringing in 15-20 new items the next time around.  One of the many reasons that I love Femme Luxe Finery clothes, is that their site is ALWAYS having some sort of sale going on...and I'm not talking about a small sale, I'm talking about sales up to 75% off their entire site!

So, these first two outfits are the same, except for the colors - camel and white.  When I tell you that these lounge wear sets are ultra comfy, I mean it.  That is why I practically own every color and print they have...except for the houndstooth/plaid.  These are super comfy, super soft and perfect to wear around the house on the weekends.  These are the boxy cut lounge wear set that comes with both the top and the pants.  The pants have an imitation drawstring and also have pockets.  Wanna know a secret?  I actually wear these pants to work, with a different top, and no one knows the difference that these are lounge wear pants!  My favorite; The Snake Print!

The next two tops, again, are also the same but different colors.  Okay, how could I NOT grab this adorable top in every color available!  This top screams summer.  It is bright, vibrant, spaghetti straps with frills...the perfect top to end the summer with!  So...you see how excited I was about these tops?  Well...Once I tried the top on, (sigh of disappointment) they did not fit as well as I had hoped.  Not because of the tops, themselves, but because I did not realize when I ordered a Large 12/14, the size 12/14 was UK size and not the US size, which as you can see below, the US Large is actually a size 6/8...which I definitely cannot wear!  Anyway, this is the Layered Mesh Ruffle Strappy Top...and I have it in both the Pink and Yellow!  Now, I have to confess something...I don't normally wear yellow, as a matter of fact, I don't even think I have a yellow piece in my closet...so this will be the first!  I've had so many people tell me, with my dark hair and skin tone, I need to wear yellow because yellow would look good on me....well...I guess I will have to hold on to these until I can wear them.  No way am I getting rid of these!

I couldn't be more excited!  My favorite online site has added 50 new items and...EVERYTHING is 50% off!  That's right...Femme Luxe Finery finally has over 50 new items that I am so thrilled about; items that I can actually see myself wearing and fits.  

You guys should know by now, that Femme Luxe Finery is my go-to shop when shopping for new clothes.  Not only because they are so fashionable and totally my style, but because this site is ALWAYS having some sort of sale going on and their clothes are very very affordable.  A lot of their items, if bought in a mall or well known department store, would cost twice as much...if not more.

Now...with all that being said, I mentioned that Femme Luxe Finery has added 50 new items to their site and I'm here to show you the four pieces that I chose.  The first photo is a Snake Print Short Sleeve Boxy Loungewear Set.  This short sleeve loungewear set comes available in many colors and prints.  I had a tough time choosing which one to choose, first, but finally decided on the snake print, as I'm a huge fan of animal print clothing.  This is a two piece loungewear set that features a capri style pant and a short sleeve boxy cut top that is super comfy, super soft and perfect for either lounging around the house, outside or dress it up with some heels for a more dressier look. I have been searching for an oversized button down shirt, that I can wear with my leggings; one that goes perfect and one that is meant to be worn, not only with leggings, but one that serves as a cute shirt dress for the summer.  This shirt is in a Rolled Sleeve Shirt Dress in the stone color and has a simple thin fabric belt that you can wrap around the shirt to emphasize your waist and the shirt.  It has buttons down the whole front of the shirt and has a small pocket on the front.  It feels very lightweight and although it's long sleeve, the fabric is thin enough to wear during the spring and summer.  Super Cute!

The third is this very comfortable, stylish Ribbed Belted Loungewear Set in Brown.  This is definitely going to be one I wear all the time, to work!  Wear it together or mix-n-match the top with black leggings or dark colored pants!  I think you can even pull the top off with a lighter colored pant.  The set features a soft ribbed legging and a top that comes with a thin fabric belt, once again, to emphasize the waist area.  The top has slits on each side and is perfect as a loungewear set or work attire.  I really love two piece sets that can also be worn as separates!

Last, but certainly not least, is one of my favorite styles of jeans...the ripped-distressed jeans.  These are the Mid Wash Ripped Straight Leg Jeans and almost every pair of jeans you see me in, will be the distressed jeans.  They have a high waist, which by the way, is very trendy and very popular today.  I love how even the very end of the jean legs has this frayed distressed look, which follows the whole distressed look throughout the jeans.  There is one large rip-out in one leg, with smaller rips throughout both legs.  I can't wait to wear these out!
